A method for controlling several master axes in a machine, for example a production machine includes the steps of defining profiles of desired values for a plurality of master axes, determining for each master axis a current desired value and also a current desired value for a slave axis using a logic combination rule, controlling a first drive in accordance with the current desired value of the slave axis, and if the dynamics controlling the first drive exceeds an upper dynamics limit, starting at the next clock pulse to modify determination of the current desired values for at least one of the master axes, and controlling the first drive with a reduced dynamics until the reduced dynamics falls below a lower dynamics limit.

The invention relates to a device and method for detecting the occupation of a seat in a motor vehicle. The device comprises first sensor elements (SE), which are flatly arranged on the seat surface of a vehicle seat and are part of a first sensor seat mat (OCSM) for measuring the weight or a weight profile on the vehicle seat. The device also comprises an evaluating unit, which is connected down from the sensor elements and provided for evaluating the first sensor signals of the first sensor seat mat (OCSM). The inventive device comprises additional safety sensor elements (SE), which are flatly arranged on the seat surface of the vehicle seat, likewise connected to the evaluating unit, and provided for testing the operability of the first sensor elements (SE). The inventive device is used in a method for detecting the occupation of a seat in a motor vehicle during which a control unit of an occupant protection system adapts the triggering behavior of an occupant protection to the determined occupation of the seat when the safety sensor elements (SE) confirm the weight and/or the weight distribution established by the sensor seat mat (OSCM).

The electrical connector has a basic body, at least one contact element inserted into the basic body, and a contact-ensuring slide. The slide is brought into engagement with the basic body and, when it is properly engaged, the contact element is ensured not to be displaced from its proper position in the basic body. The basic body and the contact-ensuring slide are formed with guide elements for specifically guiding the basic body and the contact-ensuring slide when the latter two are brought into engagement. Latching elements latch the basic body and the contact-ensuring slide. The guide elements and the latching elements of the electrical connector are spatially separated from one another. The contact-ensuring slide is placed onto the basic body along a direction which is transverse to a plug-in direction of the electrical connector, and it includes an end plate which covers the end face of the basic body when said contact-ensuring slide is disposed on the basic body, except for contact openings through which the contact elements inside the connector are accessible.

A waterproof housing with a plug-and-socket connection for protecting electronic circuits includes a hard plastic upper part and a hard plastic lower part. A soft plastic extruded seal is disposed between the upper part and the lower part. A plug part is constructed in one piece with the upper or lower part. The plug part has a hard plastic inner part containing contact pins and a soft plastic sealing collar surrounding the inner part.
