The present invention is directed to a kit-of-parts for bleaching keratin fibers, comprising: an aqueous composition A comprising a) one or more non-acetylated sugar alcohol(s), and/or their mixtures, a bleaching composition B comprising b) one or more persalt(s) and/or peroxy salt(s), c) one or more alkalizing agent(s), and an aqueous oxidizing composition C, wherein the total concentration of compound(s) according to a) in the aqueous composition A is in the range of 1% to 50% by weight, calculated to the total weight of the aqueous composition A, and wherein the bleaching composition B comprises less than 5% by weight of water, calculated to the total weight of the bleaching composition B.

The present invention relates to a process for semi-permanent straightening and permanent shaping hair, especially human hair, for improved and milder semi-permanent straightening and permanent shaping. It is found out that when commonly used permanent shaping reducing composition is mixed with another composition comprising predominantly carboxylic acids, the permanent shaping effect of the composition is improved, homogeneous shaping of hair fibers is achieved and natural cosmetic properties of hair is maintained and hair may be semi-permanently straightened before such process.

Process for semipermanent straightening and permanent shaping hair

A two-part oxidative dyeing composition is described. The two-part composition has an alkaline first part comprising oxidative dye couplers and/or oxidative dye precursors, and a second part comprising hydrogen peroxide, xanthine and/or its derivatives, and a lipophilic compound. The second part is formulated as water-in-oil emulsion and it was unexpectedly found that xanthines stabilize the viscosity of the second part composition allowing for improved dyeing performance.
