An active material container for a functional housing has an air-permeable casing with an interior and an active material arranged inside the interior. One or more rim-side guide elements are arranged at the air-permeable casing and are provided to linearly slidably guide the active material container in an insertion direction in corresponding guide elements of a receptacle of the functional housing. The functional housing is preferably a battery housing.

A battery air dryer for drying air within a battery housing of an electric vehicle battery has a support structure for dryer material. The support structure has a first fixing element coupling with a first coupling element of the battery housing and a second fixing element coupling with a second coupling element of the battery housing. The first and second fixing elements are arranged on different sides of the support structure such that a first distance between the first fixing element and a reference plane differs from a second distance between the second fixing element and the reference plane. The reference plane is a plane cutting the support structure horizontally when the battery air dryer is mounted in the battery housing in a designated orientation. Only the first fixing element or only the second fixing element is arranged in a first fixing plane parallel to the reference plane.

Disclosed is a desiccant cartridge () for drying and de-oiling a gaseous fluid, and a method for flow guidance within the desiccant cartridge. The desiccant cartridge and a housing () having positioned therein an inner pot () in which an oil separating medium () for oil particles contained in the fluid and a desiccant () for drying the gaseous fluid are arranged one after the other in the direction of the housing longitudinal axis (). The housing () has a housing base () having a centrally arranged inlet () for the fluid to be dried and de-oiled and having eccentrically arranged outlet openings () for the dried and de-oiled fluid. During normal operation of the desiccant cartridge (), the gaseous fluid guided into the desiccant cartridge () via the central inlet () is first guided in a flow through the oil separating medium () and then through the desiccant ().

Flow-optimized desiccant cartridge

An oil centrifuge has an integral, rotatably mounted centrifuge rotor and a feed tube connected to the centrifuge rotor. A flow path is provided that supplies oil to the centrifuge rotor. The feed tube is a section of the flow path. The flow path has a throttle point having a reduced throttle cross section that is reduced relative to an upstream flow path cross section of the flow path upstream of the throttle point.
