The invention relates to a method for storing load carriers in a rack (), wherein a load limit according to a static design is assigned to the rack () with respect to the load with load carriers, wherein the rack () has fields () each with multiple compartments (), and the compartments () each have one or more storage locations () for load carriers (), wherein the method comprises a storage location determination for one or more of the compartments () which comprises: receiving a first piece of information regarding the spatial allocation and respective load of storage locations () occupied by load carriers (); receiving a second piece of information regarding the spatial location of one or more free storage locations () of the compartment(s)); receiving a third piece of information regarding the weight of the load carrier () to be stored; determination of the storage location () of the compartment(s) () to be used for storing the load carrier () on the basis of the first, second, and third pieces of information and the load limit.

Method for storing load carriers in a rack

In a camel-back fleece laying machine with a laying arm attached to a joint, two endless card web transport belts are guided along this arm, and the bottom end of the laying arm carries a discharge gap, which is moved by an upper carriage transversely to the transport direction of an output conveyor belt in a plane above the output conveyor belt. A laying carriage is guided at a certain height between the output conveyor belt and the upper carriage on a path extending parallel to the upper carriage, and two closely adjacent deflecting rolls are mounted in the upper carriage, over each of which a cover belt is guided. The cover belts form a laying gap at the deflecting rolls, through which gap a card web supplied by the card web transport belts is conducted. The drive of the laying carriage is independent of the drive of the upper carriage, and the path of movement of the upper carriage extends beyond the path of movement of the laying carriage at least at one end.

Camel-back fleece laying machine

In a camel back cross lapper, a fiber web to be layered to form a fleece is guided from an infeed zone until its discharge in a layering zone in sandwiched manner between two transport belts extending over the arms of the cross lapper. The transport belts are extended over a layering zone on an output conveyor to cover the web freshly deposited onto the output conveyor to avoid the web from being affected by harmful aerodynamic effects created by the movement of the layering arm of the cross lapper. In an embodiment, a web buffer is combined with the cross lapper such manner that the transport belts extend through web buffer.
