A vault encryption abstraction framework computing system provides interface functionality to facilitate integration of client applications with vaulting solutions. The vault encryption abstraction framework manages custom authentication and authorization using the vaulting solution application for one or more client applications such as by periodically rotating or renewing any authentication tokens. The vault encryption abstraction framework includes a scheduler to manage timing requirements and to configure the client application to the schedule by setting the renewed token value to an API endpoint (e.g., a function return) and/or a configuration file for access by one or more client applications. This event triggers the client application to update to the latest token value. The vault encryption abstraction framework then triggers the vaulting solution to create and return the new key. The new key is then returned to the client application. A history of the key generation messages and subsequent status is saved in a data log.

According to one embodiment, an apparatus includes a memory comprising instructions, an interface, and a processor communicatively coupled to the memory and the interface. The processor is configured, when executing the instructions, to receive a request to perform a first function of an application and a second function of the application and transmit the portion of the request to perform the first function to a remotely-located first common function module and the portion of the request to perform the second function to a remotely-located second common function module. The processor is further configured, when executing the instructions, to receive, in response to transmitting the respective portions of the request to the remotely-located common function modules, first information from the first common function module and second information from the second common function module, and aggregate, based on the received request, the received first information and second information.

Common function modules for use with multiple applications

Aspects of the disclosure relate to an apparatus for outputting presentation code in response to receiving at least a page identifier. The apparatus comprises an electronic processor, a tangible medium storing a mapping table, template file, presentation and business rules, and computer-executable instructions.

Systems and methods are illustrated that relate to a dynamic configuration of rules (e.g., business rules, presentation rules, and the like) in a virtual machine environment. Moreover, the rules may be updated and used with an application that is running on a virtual machine without requiring the virtual machine to be stopped and started (i.e., restarted). Furthermore, aspects of the disclosure describe managing the visibility of dynamic rules to various applications running on the same virtual machine.

The at least one computer-readable medium includes: a transaction database comprising a transaction history for an account of a customer of the company; a merchant database comprising variations of merchant names for merchants; software to compare the merchant name of the transaction entry of the transaction history from the transaction database with the variations of merchant names from the merchant database; software to provide a hyperlinked special offer indicia if a match occurs between the merchant name from the transaction database and one of the variations of merchant names from the merchant database; and software to provide an online account statement web page to the customer via the network.
