An electric vehicle is coupled to communicate with the cloud. The cloud is coupled to and communicates with the electric vehicle. The cloud includes a server. The electric vehicle is configured to distribute information between electric vehicles in a fleet. The electric vehicle has cloud connectivity and a second local wireless communication to communication information to the fleet of electric vehicles. When a message is received by the first electric vehicle, the first and second components provide a verification of their existence. The first and second components decrypt and verify their parts of the message. When either the first or second component fails to provide a verification, the electric vehicle is not activated.

An electric vehicle includes a steering element that can include a handle bar element. A platform supports a ride of the electric vehicle. At least one front wheel and at least one rear wheel are included and coupled to the platform. An electric motor provides a mechanical power to at least one of the front and rear wheels. A battery housing removably receives and holds one or more battery packs, where the one or more battery packs are configured to power the electric vehicle. A camera is included.

The disclosure relates generally to an electric skateboard. The electric skateboard may include a deck, at least a rechargeable battery pack, a control module, and a communications module, a pair of trucks mounted to the deck, a plurality of wheels mounted on axles of the trucks; and one or more motors installed in one or more of the plurality of wheels for propelling the electric skateboard. The deck may include a front end, a rear end, a top plate. The rechargeable battery pack, control module, and communications module may be enclosed in an enclosure attached to the deck.

Motorized skating systems and methods for controlling the systems are disclosed. One exemplary system may include a primary skate and a secondary skate. The primary skate may include a sensor configured to detect a tilting signal. The primary skate may also include a first processor. The processor may be configured to determine a first control signal for moving the primary skate based on the tilting signal and determine a motion signal for moving the secondary skate based on the first control signal. The primary skate may further include a first communication interface configured to send the motion signal to the secondary skate. The secondary skate may include a second communication interface configured to receive the motion signal from the first communication interface. The secondary skate may also include a second processor configured to determine a second control signal for moving the secondary skate based on the received motion signal.

The disclosed embodiments are directed to a transportation device, such as a skate. The transportation device may include a frame configured to support at least a portion of a user, and a support system configured to support the frame above the ground. The support system may include a first wheel connected to the frame, a second wheel connected to the frame, and a suspension system connected to the frame and positioned between the first and second wheel. The suspension system may include a rear wheel pivotally connected to a first portion of the frame, and a shock absorber connected between the rear wheel and a second portion of the frame. The shock absorber may be configured to dampen movement by the rear wheel with respect to the first portion of the frame.

A foldable mobility device includes a chassis assembly, a steering assembly rotatably coupled to the chassis assembly, a seat assembly coupled to the chassis assembly through a first folding mechanism configured to convert the seat assembly between a first folded position and a first unfolded position, a front wheel assembly coupled to the steering assembly and configured to be rotated by the steering assembly for steering the foldable mobility device, and one or more rear wheel assemblies coupled to the chassis assembly through a second folding mechanism configured to convert the one or more rear wheel assemblies between a second folded position and a second unfolded position.
