A conduit coupling assembly facilitates connection of liquid-tight tubing with a conduit section through which associated electrical wiring and/or cables are routed. The assembly includes a transition coupling, which is joined to male and female, liquid-tight connectors. The coupling assembly is joined to the conduit and projects above an associated concrete slab or the like to position the liquid-tight connectors for efficiently joining associated liquid-tight tubing to the conduit. The conduit coupling assembly thus particularly facilitates routing of wiring from a conduit section positioned within a concrete slab or like flooring element, through the transition coupling, and the liquid-tight connectors.

Conduit support bracket

A bell end adapter arrangement facilitates assembly of conduit sections through which associated electrical wiring and/or cables are routed. The arrangement includes a bell end adapter assembly having an outer bell end adapter, and an inner sleeve portion fixed within the outer adapter. The adapter assembly particularly facilitates routing of wiring from a conduit section positioned within a concrete slab or like flooring element, with the adapter assembly configured to be inserted into the slab and joined to the conduit section disposed within the slab. The adapter assembly has a outwardly flared, bell-shaped open mouth which is configured to receive a second conduit section through which wiring form the first conduit section is routed.

Unitary support bracket

An apparatus for conduit to box unitary support bracket uses a plate. An electrical conduit box has end knockout openings on sides thereof, each end knockout opening having an elevation and size and location. The plate is disposed substantially perpendicular to said end knockout openings and comprising opposing rows of thin, selectively bendable fingers bent towards the knockout openings to support at least one wire carrier in alignment with an elevation and size and location of corresponding end knockout openings. A method of assembling bends tabs on the plate 90 degrees, installs a connector in an end knockout on a side of the box, bends in a direction toward the electrical conduit box opposing rows of a plurality thin metal fingers on the tab, secures the box to the plate, and feeds a wire carrier through the tabs, resting on the metal fingers bent and feeds the wire carrier into the connector.

Conduit to box unitary support bracket assembly

An apparatus for conduit to box unitary support bracket uses a plate. An electrical conduit box has end knockout openings on sides thereof, each end knockout opening having an elevation and size and location. The plate is disposed substantially perpendicular to said end knockout openings and comprising rows of thin, selectively bendable fingers bent towards the knockout openings to support at least one wire carrier in alignment with an elevation and size and location of corresponding end knockout openings. A method of assembling bends tabs on the plate 90 degrees, installs a connector in an end knockout on a side of the box, bends in a direction toward the electrical conduit box a plurality thin metal rowed fingers on the tab, secures the box to the plate, and feeds a wire carrier through the tabs, resting on the metal fingers bent and feeds the wire carrier into the connector.

A trapeze conduit support system includes a support bracket, and a moveable retention member, which are configured to be suspended from and carried by a pair of vertically extending support members, such as for mounting of conduits at or near a ceiling, beam, or like supporting structure of an installation. The retention member is moveable between a first, open position, wherein the conduits can be 'laid in' to the support bracket, and a second, closed position wherein the retention member retains the conduits in position within the support bracket. Convenient and efficient installation of conduits is thus facilitated.

Trapeze conduit support system

A unitary support bracket facilitates secure and efficient support of an electrical box, and one or more associated conduits. The support bracket includes a central portion, and a plurality of leg portions which extend integrally therefrom. Each of the leg portions includes a downwardly deformable distal portion, which in turn each include at least one resiliently deformable tab engageable with a respective one of the conduits. By this arrangement, the efficient support of an electrical box, and one or more associated conduits, can be provided, with minimal assembly of various components required, thus facilitating convenient and efficient installation of the associated electrical system.

Support bracket for electrical box

In a dual-sided mounting bracket for electrical junction boxes, wherein the mounting bracket comprises first and second stud coupling members and first and second junction box receiving members adjacent the respective stud coupling members, and an offset portion interposed between the first and second junction box receiving sections, and wherein each junction box receiving section has two expansive sides and two lengthwise extending edges and is adapted for mounting an electrical junction box or electrical junction boxes to a given one of the expansive sides of such junction box receiving section, each junction box receiving section has two flanges, each extending along a given one of the lengthwise extending edges of such junction box receiving section and projecting from the other one of the expansive sides of such junction box receiving section, so as to project away from an electrical junction box or electrical junction boxes mounted to the given one of the expansive sides of such junction box receiving section. Each junction box receiving section has a single tab, which can be bent back so as to support said junction box receiving station against an adjacent wall panel, and which can be bent back along either of two bending lines, so as to accommodate either of two spacings from the adjacent wall panel.

Dual-sided mounting bracket for electrical junction boxes

For an electrical box having an open front, mounting an electrical device, and having a plaster ring, which fastens to the electrical box, around the open front, and which has a projecting portion defining a generally rectangular aperture providing access to the electrical device, through the open front, after the electrical box, the electrical device, and the plaster ring have been installed behind a wall panel, such as a drywall panel, a protective cover is mountable removably to the plaster ring so as at least substantially to cover the generally rectangular aperture of the plaster ring, whereby to protect the electrical device against foreign matter, damage, or both while an aperture accommodating the projecting portion of the plaster ring is cut into the wall panel or while the wall panel is being decorated near the aperture accommodating the projecting portion of the plaster ring. In one contemplated embodiment, the protective cover is made from steel and has a window, which has a transparent sight made from a transparent, polymeric material enabling a person to view the electrical device through the generally rectangular aperture of the plaster ring and through the open front of the electrical box while the protective cover is mounted to the plaster ring. In another contemplated embodiment, the protective cover in its entirety is made from such a transparent, polymeric material.
