The present disclosure relates to a smoking substitute system and particularly, although not exclusively, to a smoking substitute device. The smoking substitute device is adapted to operate in a smoking operation while receiving power from an external power source. The smoking substitute device in particular comprises a rechargeable battery and a port to receive power for charging the rechargeable battery, wherein the device is adapted to operate while receiving power from the port.

Smoking substitute system

The present disclosure relates to a smoking substitute device. The smoking substitute device comprises: an elongate main body, the main body having a body length in a longitudinal dimension that is greater than a body width in a transverse dimension. The main body includes a curved portion having a curved longitudinal axis along the longitudinal dimension. The curved longitudinal axis is fixed.

Smoking substitute device/system

An aerosol delivery device comprises: a storage for storing aerosol precursor liquid, the storage comprising an air bleed channel for permitting air to enter the storage as the storage empties of aerosol precursor in use; and a liquid transfer element for transferring aerosol precursor liquid from the storage to an aerosol generator, wherein the air bleed channel and the liquid transfer element are configured such that aerosol precursor liquid from the liquid transfer element forms an obstruction in the air bleed channel in use to reduce flow through the air bleed channel, the aerosol delivery device further configured such that the obstruction is removed to open the air bleed channel in response to a user drawing on the aerosol delivery device.

A smoking substitute device comprising a heater connected to a main body of the device. The device includes a cap covering at least a portion of the heater. The cap is releasably engaged with a main body of the device. The cap is configured to be released from engagement with the main body of the device using a removal key.

Aerosol delivery component with a tank, and a wall separating the tank from a vaporizer, with a vent channel extending through the wall from a first opening at the chamber to a second opening at the tank and positioned such that any leakage of liquid through the channel is discharged on the vaporizer, or wherein the first opening has a greater cross-sectional area than the second opening.

Smoking substitute component

A consumable for a smoking substitute device, and a smoking substitute device including the consumable. The consumable comprising: a tank, for storing vapourisable liquid; a heater assembly, the heater assembly having an inlet and two or more outlets; and a connector, which is connected to the heater assembly, and which provides at least two airflow paths, each extending from a respective outlet of the heater assembly to an inlet of an airway tube. Each airflow path has a cross-section, located proximal to the respective outlet of the heater assembly, and a second cross-section, located proximal to the airway tube, and wherein the first cross-section is larger than the second cross-section.

Consumable for a smoking substitute device

Disclosed is a smoking substitute consumable insertable into a smoking substitute device in at least a first orientation and a second orientation. The consumable comprising: an electrical contact configured to interface with a corresponding electrical contact of the smoking substitute device, the electrical contact located at a contact end of the consumable; and at least one data contact region configured to interface with at least one corresponding data contact region of the smoking substitute device for data exchange when the smoking substitute consumable is inserted into the smoking substitute device in either the first orientation or the second orientation.

An aerosol delivery device comprises: a storage for storing an aerosol precursor; an aerosol generator comprising an aerosol generator portion configured to receive the aerosol precursor from the storage; an air flow passage configured to direct air past the aerosol generator portion to pick up the aerosol precursor from the aerosol generator portion to form an aerosol; and a barrier arrangement for inhibiting evaporation of aerosol precursor when the barrier arrangement is closed, the barrier arrangement being openable to permit generation of aerosol.

Wherein the connector includes one or more electrical connectors, for connecting a heater in the consumable to the battery, and one or more physical connectors configured to releasably retain the consumable. The connector further comprises a flexible seal, disposed between the battery and the consumable when the consumable is retained by the connector.

A consumable for a smoking substitute device, the consumable comprising: a tank for storing an e-liquid; an outlet, wherein the outlet is configured to provide fluid communication between the tank and a mouthpiece aperture, so that the mouthpiece aperture receives an aerosol vapour formed from the e-liquid in use, wherein the outlet is integrally formed with the tank; and a support for maintaining a position of the outlet relative to the tank.
