Disclosed herein is a wellbore servicing system, comprising a tubular string, a first sleeve system incorporated within the tubular string, the first sleeve system comprising a first sliding sleeve at least partially carried within a first ported case, the first sleeve system being selectively restricted from movement relative to the first ported case by a first restrictor while the first restrictor is enabled, and a first delay system configured to selectively restrict movement of the first sliding sleeve relative to the first ported case while the first restrictor is disabled; a second sleeve system incorporated within the tubular string, the second sleeve system comprising a second sliding sleeve at least partially carried within a second ported case, the second sleeve system being selectively restricted from movement relative to the second ported case by a second restrictor while the second restrictor is enabled.

System and method for servicing a wellbore

A wellbore servicing system, comprising a first sleeve system, the first sleeve system comprising a first sliding sleeve at least partially carried within a first ported case, the first sleeve system being selectively restricted from movement relative to the first ported case by a first restrictor while the first restrictor is enabled, and a first delay system configured to selectively restrict movement of the first sliding sleeve relative to the ported case while the restrictor is disabled.

The inventions provide apparatus and methods for radially expanding a tubular deployed in a subterranean well by moving an expansion tool axially through the well. An expansion tool apparatus may have wear faces attached to at least a portion of the outer periphery of a mandrel for contacting the interior surface of the pipe, tube, or screen during expansion. According to another aspect of the invention, an expansion tool has a controlled egress seal between the outer surface of the tool and the inside surface of the expandable tubular. According to another aspect of the invention, an automatically variable diameter expansion tool is provided having a variable diameter cone, which expands, and contracts based on input from one or more sensors. According to another aspect of the invention, an apparatus and method for expanding a length of screen assembly in a subterranean wellbore is provided.

Wear-resistant, variable diameter expansion tool and expansion methods

An expandable sand control screen () that is positionable within a wellbore comprises a fluid permeable generally tubular member () that is expanded downhole. A filtering assembly is disposed exteriorly of the generally tubular member (). The filtering assembly includes a filter medium () that prevents the flow of particulate material of a predetermined size therethrough but allows the flow of production fluids therethrough. The filtering assembly also includes a compliable member () that has a thickness that is radially variable downhole. During or after expansion of the expandable sand control screen (), the radial variability of the thickness of the compliable member () allows the expandable sand control screen () to comply with any irregularities in the wellbore profile, thereby preventing any void regions between the expandable sand control screen () and the wellbore.

Expandable sand control screen and method for use of same

Disclosed are apparatus and methods for movably securing a radially expandable sand-control screen jacket assembly to a base pipe. The screen jacket assembly is connected to the base pipe with a longitudinally moveable, sand-controlling joint. In use, the joint slides maintain a sand-controlling seal after radial expansion of the sand-control screen jacket assembly.

Screen jacket assembly connection and methods of using same

A hydraulic control system and associated methods provides selective control of operation of multiple well tool assemblies. In a described embodiment, a hydraulic control system includes a control module which has a member that is displaceable to multiple predetermined positions to thereby select from among multiple well tool assemblies for operation thereof. When the member is in a selected position, an actuator of a corresponding one of the well tool assemblies is placed in fluid communication with a flowpath connected to the control module. When the member is in another selected position, the flowpath is placed in fluid communication with an actuator of another one of the well tool assemblies.

Hydraulic control system for downhole tools

Selectively locking locator

A linear indexing apparatus and associated methods of using same provide convenient operation of tools in a subterranean wellbore. In a preferred embodiment, a linear indexing apparatus has an outer tubular housing and a tubular mandrel axially slidably disposed within the housing. Two sets of slips are utilized to incrementally displace the mandrel relative to the housing. A piston associated with one of the sets of slips permits the mandrel to be incrementally indexed in response to a series of repeated applications of a predetermined differential pressure.

Linear indexing apparatus and methods of using same

In a subterranean well a one-trip production zone perforation and proppant fracturing operation is carried out using a workstring-supported perforation gun lowered into a casing nipple located in the production zone. Firing of the gun creates spaced apart aligned sets of perforations extending outwardly through a side wall portion of the workstring, the nipple, the surrounding cement, and into the production zone, after which the gun falls into and is retained in an underlying gun catcher portion of the workstring. While an axial tension or compression force is imposed on the workstring above the aligned perforations to maintain their alignment, a proppant slurry is pumped down the workstring, out its sidewall perforations, and outwardly through the aligned perforation sets formed in the nipple, cement and production zone. After stimulation of the production zone, the workstring and the spent perforation gun that it retains are pulled up, with the upwardly moving workstring positioning a sliding closure device inwardly over the perforations to isolate the stimulated production zone until the well is readied for production. Illustrated alternate embodiments include the use of a low debris casing gun in place of the drop-off type perforating gun, the use of pre-formed perforations in the workstring side wall, and a one-trip perforation and production flow creating method in which the production zone stimulating step is eliminated.

One-trip well perforation/proppant fracturing apparatus and methods

A bidirectional disappearing plug member and plug assembly is capable of blocking pressurized fluid flow from opposing axial directions in a flowbore. In a preferred embodiment, the plug member, which blocks flow through the flowbore, may be readily and at least partially dissolved through the application of at least one pressurization and depressurization within a tubing string above the plug assembly. Construction of the plug assembly permits the plug member to be conveniently emplaced in a fluid-filled wellbore by permitting fluid flow around the plug member during the emplacement process. The plug member may then be secured within the plug assembly to block fluid flow from either axial direction. Operation of a plug rupture sleeve or mandrel, for at least partially dissolving the plug member, may be controlled by a ratchet assembly or linear indexing apparatus requiring multiple pressurizations and depressurizations before the plug member is exposed to wellbore fluids and thereby at least partially dissolved.

Bidirectional disappearing plug

A linear indexing tool is operably supportable on a tubing string in a subterranean wellbore and has a tubular housing structure within which a tubular mandrel is coaxially and slidably disposed. An indexing structure is operable by tubing pressure to sequentially drive the mandrel through a plurality of axial travel increments in response to a corresponding successive plurality of tubing pressure forces exerted on the indexing structure. Pressure diversion apparatus is operative to permit flow of pressurized fluid from within the housing structure to an external, pressure-actuatable device, such as a packer, only after the mandrel has been driven through at least two of its axial travel increments. Accordingly, the internal tubing pressure may be elevated to a test level thereof, thereby driving the mandrel through its first axial travel increment, without actuating the external device. A subsequent tubing pressure reduction and re-elevation may then be used to index the mandrel through another axial travel stroke to cause the internal tubing pressure to be operably diverted to the external device.

Linear indexing apparatus with selective porting

In a subterranean well a one-trip production zone perforation and proppant fracturing operation is carried out using a workstring-supported perforation gun lowered into a casing nipple located in the production zone. Firing of the gun creates spaced apart aligned sets of perforations extending outwardly through a side wall portion of the workstring, the nipple, the surrounding cement, and into the production zone, after which the gun falls into and is retained in an underlying gun catcher portion of the workstring. While an overpull force is maintained on the workstring above the perforations, a proppant slurry is pumped down the workstring, out its sidewall perforations, and outwardly through the aligned perforation sets formed in the nipple, cement and production zone. After stimulation of the production zone, the workstring and the spent perforation gun that it retains are pulled up, with the upwardly moving workstring positioning a sliding closure device inwardly over the perforations to isolate the stimulated production zone until the well is readied for production. Illustrated alternate embodiments include the use of a low debris casing gun in place of the drop-off type perforating gun, the use of pre-formed wide wall perforations in the workstring side wall, and a one-trip perforation and production flow creating method in which the production zone stimulating step is eliminated.
