A reeling device for hoses and/or cables, wherein the reeling device (1) includes a rotatable member (3) which is rotated during unwinding or reeling of the hose and/or cable (4) and wherein a spring device (5) is provided to cooperate with the rotatable member (3) such that the spring device (5) a) is stretched when the rotatable member (3) is rotated in an unwinding direction (AR) when the hose and/or cable (4) is pulled out from the reeling device (1), and b) after pulling out the hose and/or cable (4) from the reeling device (1) rotates the rotatable member (3) in a reeling direction (UR) for reeling the hose and/or cable (4) on the reeling device (1). An electric machine (8) is provided to be driven or operated by the rotatable member (3) when the spring device (5) rotates said rotatable member (3) in the reeling direction (UR) such that the electric machine (8) generates electric energy. The electric machine (8) cooperates with an electric loading device (11) which is provided to receive and consume electric energy generated by the electric machine (8) for braking or slowing down the rotatable member (3) such that the spring device (5) is prevented from imparting to said rotatable member (3) an undesired high speed of rotation in the reeling direction (UR).

Reeling device

A reeling device for hoses or cables, whereby the reeling device (1) comprises a non-rotatable member (5), a member (3) which is rotatably mounted thereon and which rotates during unrolling or reeling of the hose or cable (2), a spring device (22) for rotating the rotatable member (3) in a reeling direction for reeling or winding up the hose or cable (2) and a viscosity brake (25) for slowing down the rotary speed of the rotatable member (3) when said rotatable member is rotated in the reeling direction by the spring device. The viscosity brake (25) includes a stationary brake housing (26) which is mounted on members (38) of or connected to the non-rotatable member (5) and the viscosity brake (25) has a movable member (27) which is located inside the brake housing (26) and which includes a movement-transfer device (32) which is provided outside the brake housing (26) for obtaining movement-transfer cooperation between the rotatable member (3) and the movable member (27) of the viscosity brake (25).

Reeling device for hoses and/or cables

An arrangement for the extraction of harmful gases from workplaces, the arrangement (1) exhibiting a carrier arm system (9) having at least two arms (19, 20, 21) connected telescopically with each other so that the carrier arm system (9) can be given different lengths, whereby the carrier arm system (9) is swivelable around a horizontal spindle (17) so that it can be swivelled in a vertical direction and placed in different positions between a downward-directed, preferably substantially vertical end position and an outward-directed preferably substantially horizontal end position. In order to permit the necessary balancing of both the swivelling and positioning of the carrier arm system (9) and the telescoping function of the arms of the carrier arm system (9) when the carrier arm system (9) is swivelled within a large sector, at least one first device (22) is arranged to generate balancing forces in order to facilitate swivelling of the carrier arm system (9) in the vertical direction between the end positions and/or to facilitate the retention of the carder arm system (9) in set positions between the end positions, and at least one second device (28) is arranged to generate balancing forces which allow the arms ( 19, 20, 21) of the carrier arm system (9) to remain in the positions relative to each other that they were given by the telescopic function, at least when the carrier arm system (9) is directed substantially downwards.
