An autonomous vehicle includes processor circuitry to control a lateral position of the autonomous vehicle during autonomous driving at least based on a default lateral position and a user interface arranged to receive an input indicative of an off-set of the lateral position from a user of the autonomous driving vehicle, wherein the processor circuitry is arranged to receive, from the user interface, information regarding the off-set of the lateral position of the autonomous driving vehicle during driving in the lateral position, calculate a maximum right and a maximum left off-set of the lateral position, calculate a dynamic off-set value based on the received off-set and the maximum right and the maximum left off-set, adjust the lateral position based on the off-set information, and control the lateral position at least based on the dynamic off-set value and the default lateral position of the autonomous driving vehicle.

A method performed by a vision control system for supporting in low light conditions in surroundings of a moving vehicle, object detection by at least a first on-board rearward- and/or sideward-facing image capturing device. The vision control system captures a surrounding located rearward and/or sideward of the moving vehicle with support from the at least first image capturing device. Embodiments herein relate to a method for handling a driver's use of an object displaying device comprised in a vehicle. The driver's use of the object displaying device is monitored. Based on the monitoring, a likelihood that the driver has detected a representation of the object when using the object displaying device is determined. Method and system for adjusting a safety margin threshold of a driver support function

A driver assisting system and method for a vehicle are provided. The system includes a processor and a display system. The display system is adapted to display information on a screen of a vehicle. The screen is adapted to show the environment in front of the vehicle or a representation thereof. The vehicle extends in a longitudinal direction and a lateral direction, the longitudinal direction corresponding to the intended direction of vehicle travel. The processor is adapted to receive a first input data signal indicative of a velocity of the vehicle, and a second input data signal indicative of an actual performed and/or on-going and/or impending lateral position change of the vehicle. The processor is further adapted to process at least the first and the second input data signals to calculate an estimated vehicle path, and the display system is adapted to display the estimated vehicle path on the screen.

A vehicle driver assist arrangement includes a processor configured to receive road profile data representative of a road profile in front of the vehicle and to receive current vehicle velocity data representative of a current velocity of the vehicle. In case the driver steering input &#x3b4; is deemed unreliable a replacement reference yaw rate {dot over (&#x3c8;)}is set based on the acquired road shape and a replacement difference yaw rate &#x394;{dot over (&#x3c8;)}is set whereupon stabilizing braking intervention is performed based on the replacement difference yaw rate &#x394;{dot over (&#x3c8;)}.
