A method for filling containers of a collapsible type, including providing a web which includes the containers in an interconnected state, feeding the web for transporting the containers in a first direction, removing, during transport in the first direction, an end seal provided on each container for opening a filling duct, disengaging, during transport in the first direction, the containers from one another, and subsequently transporting the containers in a second direction transverse to first direction and filling, during the transport in the second direction, each container with a liquid product. The disclosure further relates to a device for filling containers of a collapsible type.

Method and device for filling of containers of collapsible type

A device for handling containers of a collapsible type, including one or more stations and a transport unit. The device is arranged to receive the containers oriented in a first direction and the transport unit is arranged to transport the containers to at least one of the stations by moving the containers in a second direction along a curved path, the second direction being perpendicular to the first direction. The device has a holding device provided for at least one station and located in a stationary position adjacent to the station and a transfer device, which is provided for the at least one station and carried by the transport unit and which is cyclically movable along an endless path between a pick-up position and a delivery position located adjacent to the station. The transfer device is arranged to pick up at least one container in the pick-up position and transfer the at least one container, in the delivery position, to the holding device. The disclosure also concerns a method for handling containers of a collapsible type in a filling machine.

Device and method for filling of a container

A method for gas filling a handle portion of a container of a collapsible type. The handle portion being defined by two opposite side walls of the container and communicating, via a duct defined by the side walls, with an opening formed in one of the side walls. The method including the steps of supplying, at a gas filling station, a gas to the handle portion via the opening and the duct, blocking the duct by squeezing action to retain the gas supplied to the handle portion, transporting the container to a sealing station while maintaining the squeezing action and, at the sealing station, sealing the duct while maintaining the squeezing action, so as to permanently enclose the gas in the handle portion. The disclosure further concerns a container of a collapsible type.

The invention relates to a device for filling a container of a collapsible type with a product. The device comprising a valve housing with a filling tube, which is insertable into a filling duct of the container to supply the product to the compartment through a product path; a piston element arranged in the product path and comprising a valve body and an end element, the piston element being movable between a first position, in which the valve body blocks the product path and the end element counteract dripping, and a second position, in which the valve body opens the product path and the end element defines, together with the outlet portion, a filling passage; and a squeezing apparatus establishes a seal between the filling tube and the filling duct.

A device for producing container blanks from a material web having a plurality of tools supported by a rotary tool holder. The tool holder is on rotation arranged to move each tool along a working path along which each tool is engageable with the material web for joining of opposite wall portions of the material web along connecting portions, and a return path along which each tool is disengageable from the material web.
