Electric trolley

The invention relates to a method of performing an optical or electrical measurement in a sample of a disperse fluid, the sample comprising particles and a fluid. The method comprises the steps of: a) positioning the sample in a microfluidic cavity having a resonance frequency, b) subjecting the sample, in the cavity, to an acoustic standing wave configured for causing the particles to congregate in at least one first region of the cavity, thereby causing the fluid to occupy at least one second region of the cavity, wherein the frequency of the acoustic standing wave is varied between a frequency below the resonance frequency and a frequency above the resonance frequency, and c) performing an optical or electrical measurement in the fluid in at least one of the at least one second region of the cavity. Varying the frequency ensures reproducible results. The invention also relates to a system therefore and a method and system for measuring hematocrit.

Method and system for optical or electrical measurements in disperse fluids

The invention relates to a locking device designed to lock objects to tubes or other elongated elements. The locking device generally comprises one or more lock plates and lock housings. In one exemplary embodiment, when assembling the locking device to a tube, two lock housings are put together with open sides against each other around a tube with a dimension corresponding to approximately half of a recess which is found on the lock housing's sides and are oriented in the tube's axial direction. The two lock housings form a closed geometry around the tube. Lock plates are used to connect the two lock housings together. By applying a screw in a threaded hole in one of the lock housings' cover, the through tube is pressed against an opposite lock housing at substantially the same time as the lock plates hold the lock housings together.

Locking device and method for fixation of components to tubes

The invention provides a micro scaled method and system for separating a subgroup of cells and/or particles from a mixture of different types of cells and/or particles in a suspension. The suspension is forced under pressure into an inlet and further into a pre-alignment channel wherein the suspension is subjected to a two dimensional acoustic force directed perpendicular to the length direction of the pre-alignment channel. The suspension is then forced into a second inlet and further into at least one separation channel wherein the mixture of cells and/or particles are forced towards the walls of the channel and subjected to a one dimensional acoustic force directed perpendicular to the length direction of the separation channel. Cells and/or particles having the same size and/or mass density and/or compressibility are collected through at least two outlets.

A telescopic roller conveyor is provided, the telescopic roller conveyor comprises an inner profile () and an outer profile (). The inner profile () is adapted to slide inside the outer profile () such that a telescopic functionality is achieved. The inner () and outer () profiles each have a first side () comprising: at least one first recess () adapted to partly contain at least one roller organ () and at least one second recess () adapted to receive an axle () connected to the roller organ (). The axle () is adapted to lock the inner () and outer () profiles to each other in the length axis of the profiles () when the axle () is placed in the recess (). A telescopic roller conveyor frame is also provided.
