The invention relates to a forest machine, comprising a chassis having sides, a swing bogie mounted on bearings to the chassis, comprising a swing frame, second sides and at least two wheels, a swing bearing attaching the chassis to mount the swing bogie, a power transmission arranged through the swing bearing in connection with the chassis, a support formed by two pairs between the chassis and the swing frame, each pair having a protrusion as a support surface and a rail as a counter surface to transmit lateral forces between the chassis and the swing frame during contact between the two surfaces, wherein each pair is located at a distance from the swing bearing on separate side of the swing bearing, and in each pair, one of the protrusions and the rail is attached to the side of the chassis and other to the second side of the swing frame.

Forest machine

A cabin () of a mobile work machine () is adaptable to a frame of the work machine by means of an arrangement () which comprises longitudinal levelling means () for levelling the cabin in the direction of longitudinal tilting (A) of the work machine, and transverse levelling means () for levelling the cabin in the direction of sideward tilting (H),transverse in relation to the longitudinal direction (B) of the work machine, with respect to transverse pivoting axle (J). The transverse pivoting axle extends in a substantially orthogonal horizontal direction in relation to the longitudinal pivoting axle (C), and is adapted at a lower height than the longitudinal pivoting axle.

Arrangement and method for levelling a cab of a work machine

The invention relates to a forest machine, comprising a chassis having a first chassis and a second chassis pivoted consecutively by a central pivot, first sets of wheels arranged in connection with the first chassis, an engine fitted in connection with the first chassis, a load space supported on the second chassis extending at least partly below an upper surface of the second sets of wheels, power transmission transmitting power to the second drive wheel of the second sets of wheels, wherein the second chassis includes two longitudinal parts attached to each other at least in front of the load space, which longitudinal parts are at a distance from each other in lateral direction of the forest machine at least over a partial length of the load space, in which forest machine the load space extends between the longitudinal parts in vertical direction of the forest machine.

An assembly for enabling rotational motion in a vehicle or mobile working machine is disclosed which includes at least two sections arranged in an overlying position relative to the vehicle's or working machine's working surface. A top section can be led to motion relative to a bottom section and a longitudinal rotation axis, the top section and the bottom section being movably coupled to each other by at least one trajectory element which generates a curvilinear trajectory. The relative motion of the top section and the bottom section proceeds along a curvilinear trajectory in a section plane which is perpendicular relative to the lengthwise rotation axis. The trajectory can be at least partly in the shape of a circular arc, the midpoint of this curvilinear trajectory being disposed below the bottom section. An actuator mounted on the vehicle or working machine affects the top section and/or the bottom section.

Assembly and method for enabling rotational motion in a vehicle or mobile working machine

A modular crawler-track unit for a forest machine has an engine, a chassis with a pivot bearing and a crawler-track frame. A sleeve shaft is attached to the crawler-track frame to support the crawler-track frame on the pivot bearing. A drive wheel is mounted in bearings in the crawler-track frame inside a circulation of a crawler mat. A support is arranged in the crawler-track frame inside the circulation to support a part of the crawler mat against the ground. A drive shaft is mounted in bearings in the crawler-track frame coaxially with the sleeve shaft to transmit power to the crawler-track unit. A shaft mounted in bearings on the crawler-track frame pivots the drive wheel to the crawler-track frame at a distance from the drive shaft. A power-transmission is fitted between the shaft and the drive shaft to transmit power from the drive shaft to the drive wheel.

Crawler-track unit, forest machine and forest machine assembly

A vehicle or machine suitable for operation on uneven or inclined surfaces, such as a forest work unit, comprises at least three frame parts and two rotational planes. Each frame part has rotational planes, in each particular case, on an interface between two successive frame parts of the vehicle or machine. The rotational planes are, in each particular case, planes perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the vehicle or machine in the neutral position. The frame parts are thus arranged to be independently rotatable in relation to the rotational plane.

An arrangement and method are provided for enabling rotation movement between a tandem or caterpillar axle and a body of a vehicle. This type of vehicle includes at least one body part that is provided with a tandem or caterpillar axle. At least one body part includes a main body and an auxiliary body connected to it to rotate around the longitudinal axis of the vehicle or an essentially parallel axis thereto. The tandem or caterpillar axle is connected substantially rigidly to the main body, and the body part has at least one actuator for controlling the rotation movement between the main body and auxiliary body. In this way, changes in the position and motion status of the auxiliary body, especially in relation to the rotation around the longitudinal axis of the vehicle, are arranged to cause in the actuator a pushing or pulling motion that steers the auxiliary body to a rotation movement for the purpose of arranging the auxiliary body to a substantially horizontal position.

Arrangement and method for enabling rotation movement between tandem or caterpillar axle and body of vehicle

The invention relates to an arrangement in a forestry machine (), in which arrangement there is &#x2014;a chassis (), &#x2014;a single-axle set of wheels () pivoted to the chassis (), and &#x2014;at least one auxiliary wheel () fitted the outside the set of wheels (), in order to increase the load-bearing capacity of the rear part () of the chassis (). &#x2014;The arrangement further includes &#x2014;at least one support arm () arranged to carry the said auxiliary wheel () at its first end () and pivoted at its second end () to the said chassis () with the aid of a transverse shaft (), &#x2014;a support surface () attached to the chassis () and a counter surface () attached to the said support arm (), for limiting the transverse movement of the support arm (). &#x2014;The invention also relates to a corresponding forestry machine.
