A display panel and an electronic terminal are provided, including a plurality of opening areas, an array substrate, a color filter substrate positioned opposite to the array substrate, a backlight module arranged on one side of the array substrate away from the color filter substrate; and an optical layer disposed in at least one of the color filter substrate and the array substrate. The color filter substrate includes color resist portions in the respective opening areas. The optical layer is configured to converge light and is arranged corresponding to the color resist portions.

Display panel and electronic terminal

The present application provides a display panel and a display device. The display panel includes sub-pixels with multiple colors and upper polarizing units with various structures. The upper polarizing units with the various structures are disposed one-to-one correspondence with the sub-pixels with the multiple colors to increase transmittance of transmitted light of each color through the upper polarizing units corresponding to the sub-pixels whose color is the same as the color of the upper polarizing units.

Display panel and display device

The present application provides a display panel and a display device. The display panel includes a liquid crystal layer, a light adjustment layer, and a reflection layer. The liquid crystal layer includes a plurality of liquid crystal molecules. The light adjustment layer includes a plurality of light adjustment portions, and each of the light adjustment portions and a corresponding one of the liquid crystal molecules include a contact interface. The reflection layer is disposed on a side of the liquid crystal layer and the light adjustment layer away from a display side and corresponds to the light adjustment portions. An incident light is totally reflected at the contact interface or passes through the contact interface.

A display device is provided. The display device inputs a preset gray scale voltage to sub-pixels during a first time period within one frame in a second driving mode, thereby increasing a liquid crystal flipping speed within one frame, and therefore improving a response time of the display device in switching between black screen and white screen.

Display panel

A display device is provided. The display device includes a display panel and a backlight module. The display panel includes sub-pixels and a light-shielding layer disposed around the sub-pixels. A reflective nano-grating is disposed on one side of the light-shielding layer near the backlight module. The backlight module provides a backlight source for the display panel, and the backlight source is converted into a polarized light in the display panel. The reflective nano-grating is used to reflect at least one part of the polarized light emitted toward the reflective nano-grating back to the backlight module for recycling.

Display device

A surface-emitting laser, which is a ridge waveguide structure, including: a substrate, a first cladding layer, an active layer, a conductive layer, a second cladding layer; the Bragg gratings is etched on the surface of the ridge waveguide; the two upper electrodes are disposed on both sides of the ridge waveguide; two grooves are formed between the ridge waveguide and each of the two upper electrodes; the first waveguide cladding layer includes one or more current confinement regions; or a buried tunnel junction is formed in the second cladding layer for limiting current. The Bragg gratings comprise two first-order gratings and one second-order grating placed between two first-order gratings.

Surface-emmiting laser comprising surface gratings

A distributed feedback laser, including: a ridge waveguide; two upper electrodes disposed on two sides of the ridge waveguide, respectively; two lower electrodes disposed on two sides of the upper electrodes, respectively; a substrate; a second waveguide cladding layer; an active layer; and a first waveguide cladding layer. The first waveguide cladding layer is n-doped and includes a conductive layer and a refractive layer disposed on the conductive layer. The refractive index of the refractive layer is greater than the refractive index of the active layer. The ridge waveguide includes a ridge region formed by a middle part of the refractive layer. The ridge region includes a surface provided with Bragg gratings. Two grooves are formed between the ridge waveguide and the upper electrodes. The conductive layer is connected to the upper electrodes. The second waveguide cladding layer includes one or more current restricted areas.
