The present application provides a battery, a power consumption device, and a method for producing a battery. The battery includes a box body and a battery module arranged in the box body, the battery module includes a battery cell arrangement structure and an end plate, the battery cell arrangement structure includes a plurality of battery cells stacked along a first direction, the end plate is arranged between an inner wall of the box body and the battery cell arrangement structure, and the end plate is fixedly connected to the battery cell arrangement structure, where the end plate includes a first elastic support portion, and the first elastic support portion is capable of abutting against the inner wall of the box body and be pressed and deformed by the battery cell arrangement structure when the battery cell arrangement structure expands, to provide expansion space for the battery cell arrangement structure.

A casing of a battery, a battery and an electricity-consuming apparatus are provided by the present application. The casing of the battery includes a first beam, a second beam and a connecting assembly. A surface of the first beam is provided with a groove. The second beam is arranged on a side of the first beam provided with the groove. The first beam and the second beam is configured to limit a space for accommodating a battery cell. The connecting assembly is configured to connect the first beam with the second beam. At least a portion of the connecting assembly is arranged inside the first beam and the second beam.

The present application discloses a battery, and a related device, preparation apparatus thereof. The battery includes a battery cell, the battery cell including a pressure relief mechanism and at least two walls, the at least two walls including a first wall and a second wall that intersect with each other, the pressure relief mechanism being disposed at the first wall and being configured to, when an internal pressure or temperature of the battery cell reaches a threshold, be actuated to release the internal pressure; a thermal management component attached to the first wall and being configured to accommodate a fluid to cool the battery cell; and a support component attached to the second wall, and configured to support the battery cell; wherein the thermal management component is configured such that when the pressure relief mechanism is actuated, emissions discharged from the battery cell pass through the thermal management component.
