Front light source module and display apparatus

An edge-lit light source includes at least two light guide layers and one or more light-emitting elements. Side surfaces of each layer include a light incident surface and a light exit surface. The layer includes a bending region. A light-emitting surface of each element faces a light incident surface of at least one layer. The layer includes first and second light guide portions. An end surface of the first light guide portion is the light exit surface. The second light guide portion includes at least two light guide bars each including a bending portion and an extending portion. A surface of the extending portion is a light incident sub-surface. The light-emitting surface of each element faces at least one light incident sub-surface. Second light guide portions of the at least two layers are arranged in a second direction perpendicular to a thickness direction of the first light guide portion.

Edge-lit light source, backlight module and display devices

A display module and a display device are provided in the embodiments of the present disclosure. The display module includes a display panel, the display panel includes a first surface and a second surface opposite to each other, at least one of the first surface and the second surface is a display surface, and the display module further includes an optical modulation structure arranged on at least one of the first surface and the second surface of the display panel. The optical modulation structure includes: a first transparent substrate and a second transparent substrate arranged opposite to each other, a charged particle arranged between the first transparent substrate and the second transparent substrate, and a first transparent electrode structure arranged between the first transparent substrate and the second transparent substrate and configured to form an electric field for driving the charged particle to move.

Display module and display device

A light guiding structure, a light source module and a display module are disclosed. The light guiding structure includes a light guiding body and at least one light guiding cavity disposed in the light guiding body. The light guiding body includes a light incident surface and a light exit surface which are disposed opposite to each other. Each light guiding cavity includes a first end close to the light incident surface of the light guiding body and a second end away from the light incident surface of the light guiding body, and the light guiding cavity extends from the first end to the second end.

Light guiding structure, light source module and display module

An edge-lit light source includes one or at least two light guide layers arranged in a stack and one or more light-emitting elements. Of one or more light guide layers of the one or at least two light guide layers, side surfaces of each light guide layer includes a light incident surface and a light exit surface, and the light guide layer includes a bending region located between the light incident surface and the light exit surface. A light-emitting surface of each light-emitting element faces a light incident surface of at least one light guide layer of the one or more light guide layers.

A light guide assembly includes a light guide plate and a light guide strip around the periphery of the light guide plate, where a plurality of light-transmitting holes are formed on one side of the light guide strip facing to the light guide plate, and at least one end of the light guide strip is an light incident side. The light is incident to the inside of the light guide strip from the light incident side, and then is incident into the light guide plate from the light-transmitting holes on the side of the light guide strip, and thus becomes a surface light source.

A display device and a terminal device are disclosed. The display device includes a main body and a cover body rotatably connected to the main body, the main body includes a first display screen on a side, close to the cover body, of the main body, the cover body is provided with an accommodating cavity penetrating through the cover body in a direction perpendicular to the first display screen, the cover body includes a second display screen in the accommodating cavity, the second display screen is stacked on the first display screen in the direction perpendicular to the first display screen, and the second display screen is a transparent display screen.

A back light unit and a display device are proposed. The back light unit includes a light guide plate and multiple light emitting diodes, wherein the multiple light emitting diodes are disposed on a light entrance surface of a side end of the light guide plate, the light entrance surface of the light guide plate is disposed with at least one groove, and the at least one groove is disposed between at least part of adjacent light emitting diodes.

A light guide plate includes a through hole; at least one light transmitting component disposed within the light guide plate; at least one light incident surface; at least one light source; and at least one lens structure located between the light source and the incident surface. The light transmitting component is configured to transmit a portion of light that enters the light incident surface to a first region of the light guide plate that would otherwise be masked by the through hole. The light guide plate might backlight a display panel. A method for manufacturing the light guide plate is also provided.

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a display module and a method of manufacturing the same, and a display device. In one embodiment, a display module includes a display panel and a light-emitting module. The light-emitting module includes: a light source configured to emit light; a light guide structure configured to form a total reflection propagation of the light emitted by the light source therein; and a light extraction structure disposed between the display panel and the light guide structure, and configured to introduce the light propagating in the light guide structure into the display panel.
