A biogas combustion system that obtains a stable output and saves energy is realized. A combustion system comprises a separation portionthat removes carbon dioxide from a treatment target gas containing a mixture gas containing methane as a main component and containing carbon dioxide to obtain methane gas of a high purity in which at least a content of carbon dioxide has been reduced, and a combustion portionthat combusts the methane gas. The separation portionincludes a first treatment chamberand a second treatment chamberseparated from each other by a separation membranetherebetween. Provided is a facilitated COtransport membrane having an improved COpermeance and an improved CO/Hselectivity. The facilitated COtransport membrane includes a separation-functional membrane that includes a hydrophilic polymer gel membrane containing a COcarrier and a COhydration catalyst. Further preferably, the COhydration catalyst at least has catalytic activity at a temperature of 100&#xb0; C. or higher, has a melting point of 200&#xb0; C. or higher, or is soluble in water.

The present invention provides a composition for a COgas separation membrane containing: at least one compound selected from the group consisting of an alkali metal carbonate, an alkali metal bicarbonate, and an alkali metal hydroxide; a crosslinked polymer in which a polymer having a carboxyl group has been crosslinked; and a non-crosslinked polymer obtained by polymerization of one or more monomers selected from the group consisting of vinyl acetate, acrylic acid, methacrylic acid, and a derivative thereof.

The facilitated COtransport membrane includes a separation-functional membrane comprising a hydrophilic polymer gel membrane which contains a COcarrier and a COhydration catalyst, wherein the hydrophilic polymer is a copolymer including a first structural unit derived from an acrylic acid cesium salt or an acrylic acid rubidium salt and a second structural unit derived from vinyl alcohol. More preferably, the COhydration catalyst has catalytic activity at a temperature of 100&#xb0; C. or higher.
