The housing includes a wall portion and a fastener, where the fastener comprises a connecting portion and a pressing portion that together define a cavity. At least part of the electrode terminals is positioned within the cavity. The protective member includes a first protective portion covering the connecting portion and a second protective portion covering the pressing portion. The second protective portion extends beyond the pressing portion in a first direction. The structure reduces the likelihood of short circuits by shielding the pressing portion, thereby enhancing battery cell reliability.

Along a length direction of the end face, at least part of the first connecting portion exceeds the second connecting portion. As the first connecting portion exceeds the second connecting portion in the length direction of the end face, the connectable range of the first connecting portion in the length direction of the end face can be expanded, facilitating direct connection of the first connecting portion with the electrode terminal.

An air-permeable member covers the recess, and the air-permeable member is configured to allow gas to be discharged to the outside of the housing through the recess when a gas pressure inside the housing reaches a threshold. A bottom wall of the recess is provided with a protruding portion extending toward the electrode assembly, and the protruding portion is configured to be attached to the air-permeable member.

The present application is provided with a battery pack, including a first battery module, a second battery module and a box body, where the first battery module and the second battery module are housed in the box body; the box body including a lower box body configured to support the first battery module and the second battery module, and an upper box body fitting with the lower box body. The upper box body includes a second connecting portion, where the first connecting portion and the second connecting portion are fixed and connected. A groove bottom wall of the stage of depressed groove farthest away from the first surface among the at least one stage of depressed groove is provided with an opening area. The indented groove is formed along an edge of the opening area. The opening area is configured to be openable with the stage of indented groove farthest away from the first surface as a boundary.

According to the technical solutions of the embodiments of the present application, the safety of the battery can be enhanced.

The present application discloses a battery including a battery cell, a thermal management component, an avoidance chamber and a collection chamber. The battery cell includes a pressure relief mechanism; the thermal management component is configured to adjust a temperature of the battery cell; the avoidance chamber is configured to provide a space allowing the pressure relief mechanism to be actuated; and the collection chamber is configured to collect emissions from the battery cell when the pressure relief mechanism is actuated. The thermal management component is configured such that emissions are capable of passing through the thermal management component when the pressure relief mechanism is actuated, and then entering the collection chamber through the avoidance chamber. Therefore, the pressure relief mechanism may not need to be provided on a side of an electrode terminal of the battery cell and emissions relieved by the pressure relief mechanism may be collected.

A box structure includes a cooling member and a frame. The cooling member includes a main pipe and at least one branch pipe connected to the main pipe. The main pipe is configured to pass a coolant into the branch pipe, and the branch pipe is configured to contact the battery pack to cool the battery pack. An accommodation groove is created at a bottom of the frame, at least a part of the main pipe is located in the accommodation groove, and the main pipe is bonded and fixed to the accommodation groove.

The battery pack box includes a base plate and a frame, the base plate being connected with the frame; where the base plate includes: a first plate; a second plate, disposed opposite to the first plate; and a perforated plate, provided with a plurality of holes spaced; where the perforated plate is located between the first plate and the second plate, and is welded and fixed to the first plate and the second plate respectively. The end cover may cover the opening, and in a thickness direction of the end cover, the first limiting structure may limit movement of the end cover in a direction towards the electrode assembly. The first insulation structure may be at least partially provided between the first tab and the first limiting structure, so as to insulate and isolate the first tab from the first limiting structure.
