A processor may receive local updates for a current global model from a plurality of client computing devices, each local update being determined by one of the plurality of client computing devices based on a local dataset on the client computing device. The processor may determine a domain-specific aggregate of the local updates from each subset of the plurality of client computing devices. The processor may determine an updated global model based on the domain-specific aggregate of the local updates for each subset of the plurality of client computing devices.

Federated learning

A computer-implemented method, system and computer program product for improving understandability of text by a user. A final word vector for each word in a sentence of a document is computed, such as by averaging a first word vector and a second word vector for that word. Furthermore, elements of a user portrait are vectorized. A distance is then computed between a vector for each word in the sentence and a vectorized element in the user's portrait which is summed to form an evaluation result for the element. An evaluation result is also formed for every other element in the user's portrait by performing such a computation step. A 'final evaluation result' is then generated corresponding to the evaluation results for every element in the user's portrait. The document is then transformed in response to the final evaluation result indicating a lack of understanding of the sentence by the user.

Identifying and transforming text difficult to understand by user

A mechanism is provided in a data processing system for hybrid cloud management. The mechanism generates hybrid cloud storage features and hybrid cloud environment factors. The mechanism performs a dynamic confidence method on the hybrid cloud features based on the hybrid cloud environment factors using a deep learning model to generate a hybrid cloud storage profile. The mechanism performing model optimization on the deep learning model and generating a files-storage matrix. The mechanism generates a hybrid cloud file profile based on the hybrid cloud storage profile and the files-storage matrix. The mechanism generates a target file matrix based on the hybrid cloud storage profile and the hybrid cloud file profile. The mechanism stores files based on the target file matrix.

Cognitive method to perceive storages for hybrid cloud management

Aspects of the invention include a computer-implemented method by executing, via a processor, a bottleneck model training process for microservices in a microservice system, wherein for each of the microservices the bottleneck model training process filters out a subset of training data based at least in part on a current situation setting. Building, via the processor, a bottleneck indicator model for each of the microservices using information from the bottleneck model training process, convergence points for an expected response time. Executing, via the processor, a bottleneck identification process for providing system alerts when a bottleneck is identified, wherein the bottleneck identification process uses analysis to monitor a data stream according to the bottleneck indicator model which uses the convergence points for response times.

Enhanced bottleneck analysis at an early stage in a microservice system

A method, computer system and computer program product for processing configuration after a cluster migration are provided. In this method, a network booting program is received at a computing node from a management node for a cluster. The cluster includes at least one computing node. An operating system is booted in a memory of the computing node with the received network booting program. Configuration changes are received from the management node, and the configurations in a local storage of the computing node are updated according to the received configuration changes.

In an approach, a processor obtains a first set of training samples, one of the training samples including values of a plurality of performance indicators of a target system observed at a historical point in time. A processor determines whether the first set of training samples are qualified for training a prediction model, the prediction model predicting an operational status of the target system at a target point in time based on values of the plurality of performance indicators observed at the target point in time. The method calculates, by the processor, a first density score for the first subset of aggregation data and a first indicator score for the first subset of aggregation data and provides, by the processor, the first interval as a recommended interval when the first density score does not exceed a density threshold and the first indicator threshold does not exceed an indicator threshold.

Aspects include obtaining historical data for each of a plurality of metrics for a computer system and calculating, based on the historical data, an anomaly relationship score for each of the plurality of metrics. Cognitive control of runtime resource monitoring scope

A computer system to detect data alerts includes a data preprocessing system and a data analysis system. The data preprocessing system obtains system data of the computer system, generates predicted data based on the system data, and generates differential data indicating a difference between the system data and the predicted data. The data analysis is in signal communication with the data preprocessing system and determines that the differential data is one of expected event or an anomaly event in response to adding at least one new value from the differential data to the predicted data.

An aspect includes determining a plurality of file classifications for files that are stored in a data storage system based on performance history data of a disaster recovery (DR) system of the data storage system. Another aspect includes determining an information loss based on the performance records. Another aspect includes determining a total cost savings based on the classification records.
