A system for facilitating processing of data to and from the data bus of the mobile terminal. The system includes a mobile terminal comprising a data bus for receiving and transmitting data to a wireless communication network. The system further includes an output device for presenting at least one of audio, video, and textual information to a user, and an interface module connected to the data bus of the mobile terminal. The interface module includes: (a) a protocol stack for processing data to and from the data bus of the mobile terminal in accordance with at least one communication protocol, (2) a user agent for interpreting data to and from the protocol stack; and (3) a signal generator for converting the interpreted data from the user agent into signals for presentation by the output device.

A method and system of predicting the level of the HbA component of glycosylated haemoglobin in a patient's blood. A mathematical model is derived which predicts the behavior of the HbA , component level relative to the blood glucose level using previously measured HbA and blood glucose levels. The model is updated each time a new HbA level is measured using that new measurement and recent new blood glucose level measurements. The updated model is then applied to predict the HbA level, between measurements of that level, using measurements of blood glucose level obtained since the last HbA measurement.

A method and apparatus to collect risk factor information and location data associated with asthma patients and to provide information to these patients about the air quality is disclosed. A mobile two-way communication tool is used to facilitate air quality analysis based on human reactions and clustering methods. The method includes measuring predetermined physiological and dynamic parameters associated with a user, transmitting the measured predetermined parameters to an analysis tool, analyzing the measured physiological and dynamic predetermined parameters to determine advisory information associated with the measured predetermined physiological and dynamic parameters and transmitting the advisory information to the user. Method and apparatus for providing air quality analysis based on human reactions and clustering methods
