A battery includes a battery cell and a casing assembly for receiving the battery cell. The battery cell includes a first electrode tab. The battery further includes an insulating member and a conductive member, the insulating member is connected between the casing assembly and the conductive member. The casing assembly defines a first through hole, and the insulating member defines a second through hole connected to the first through hole. The first electrode tab is electrically connected to the conductive member. A power consuming device including the battery is further provided. The conductive member of the present disclosure substitutes for the terminal post of existing art, increasing the energy density of the battery.

A battery, including a battery cell and a housing assembly accommodating the battery cell. The battery cell includes a first tab. The housing assembly includes a first housing body and a second housing body. The first housing body and the second housing body define an accommodation space to accommodate the battery cell. The first housing body and/or the second housing body include an installation portion provided with a via hole. A conductive member is disposed on an inner surface or an outer surface of the housing assembly and electrically connected to the first tab. In a through direction of the via hole, a projection of the conductive member is at least partially located in the via hole. A surface of the first electrode plate facing back from a center of the electrode assembly contains a first blank foil region uncoated with a first active material and electrically connected to the conductive assembly. A surface of the second electrode plate facing back from the center of the electrode assembly contains a second blank foil region uncoated with a second active material. The elastic portion is electrically connected to the second blank foil region.

A housing is disclosed, including an accommodating cavity, where a surface of the housing is provided with a groove, a thickness of an area provided with the groove in the housing is less than a thickness of an area provided with no groove in the housing, the housing further includes a protective layer, and the protective layer is disposed on the surface of the housing and covers an opening end of the groove. The groove helps discharge a pressure from the housing, and the protective layer can prevent the housing from being accidentally broken. The battery provided by the embodiments of the present application has good cell reliability, and can realize the sealing attachment of the tab unit to the edge.

Battery

The present disclosure provides a wound-type electrode assembly comprising a first and second electrode plates, a first and second electrode tabs, and a separator. The first and second electrode plates include a first current collector and active substance layer, and a second current collector and active substance layer. Two surfaces of the first current collector of the first winding start section of the first electrode plate are not coated with first active substance layer and defined as a first start blank current collector, the first start blank current collector is welded to a first electrode tab. The second pole piece comprises a second groove, a bottom of which is a second current collector and a circumference thereof is a second active substance layer; the second electrode tab is accommodated in the second groove and electrically connected to the second current collector at the second groove.

Wound-type electrode assembly

The present invention provides a secondary battery. The secondary battery comprises a first electrode tab and a first electrode plate. The first electrode plate first electrode plate comprises a first current collector, a first active layer, a first electrode tab receiving groove and a first electrode plate notch. The first active layer is disposed on a surface of the first current collector. The first electrode tab receiving groove is configured to receive the first electrode tab, and the first electrode tab is electrically connected with the first current collector through the first electrode tab receiving groove. The first electrode plate notch is disposed on an edge of the first electrode tab receiving groove.

Embodiments of the present application provide a protective device for cell including a first conductive component and a second conductive component that are disposed oppositely and spaced apart. A switching unit disposed between the first conductive component and the second conductive component is configured to disconnect the first conductive component from the second conductive component based on a predetermined temperature of the cell. The purpose of the present application is to provide a protection device for cell to timely cut off the internal circuit of the cell when the internal temperature of the cell is high.

The present application discloses a cell and a battery, the cell comprising a first electrode, a second electrode, and a first separator and a second separator that are disposed between the first electrode and second electrode, wherein the first separator includes a first meshing structure beyond the first electrode and the second electrode, the second separator includes a second meshing structure beyond the first electrode and the second electrode, and the first meshing structure is meshed with the second meshing structure along a thickness direction of the cell. The cell provided by the present application can improve the dropping performance of the cell and enhance the safe use of cell.

Cell and battery

The invention provides an electrode piece, a cell and an energy storage device. The electrode piece is used to form the cell, comprising: a current collector; a diaphragm; and a groove. Among them, the current collector exposed at the bottom of the groove is a blank current collector, and the blank current collector is formed with a connecting portion; the connecting portion is cut out from the blank current collector as a part of the blank current collector and bent on the blank current collector along the width direction; and at least a portion of the connecting portion extends beyond the outer edge of the current collector in the width direction. The electrode piece of the invention can increase the energy density of the cell and the connection strength of the blank current collector of the electrode tab and the electrode piece, and reduce the production cost.

In one aspect, the present application provides a multilayer sheet including a metal layer, a bonding layer arranged on a first surface of the metal layer, and a buffer layer arranged on a second surface of the metal layer, wherein the buffer layer is provided with a hole. The present application further provides a battery including an electrode assembly, and a packaging bag prepared from the multilayer sheet. Wherein the packaging bag packages the electrode assembly. It is an object of the present application to provide a multilayer sheet and battery capable of reducing vibration damage.

The cell includes an electrode assembly and a packaging bag, the electrode assembly includes a first electrode sheet provided with a first coating layer and a first uncoated region, the packaging bag includes a first body, the electrode assembly is disposed in the packaging bag, and the first uncoated region is electrically connected with the first body. Further, the electrode assembly may further include a second electrode sheet provided with a second coating layer and a second uncoated region, the packaging bag may further include a second body, and the second uncoated region is electrically connected with the second body.
