The present disclosure describes techniques for social networking based on collecting asset items. Features may be extracted from an image comprising an object. The object may be associated with a location. One or more pre-stored files may be determined based on the location. The one or more pre-stored files may each correspond to one or more objects proximate to the location. Each of the one or more pre-stored files may comprise data indicative of a corresponding object. The object may be recognized based on comparing the features extracted from the image with data comprised in the one or more pre-stored files. An asset item may be received in response to recognizing the object.

Social networking based on asset items

The present disclosure provides systems and methods for video generation corresponding to a user input. Given a user input, a story video with content relevant to the user input can be generated. One aspect includes a computing system comprising a processor and memory. The processor can be configured to execute a program using portions of the memory to receive the user input, generate a story text based on the user input, generate a plurality of story images based on the story text, and output a story including the story text and a story video having content corresponding to the story text, wherein the story video includes the plurality of story images. Additionally or alternatively, the story video can include audio data and a plurality of generated animated videos, each animated video corresponding to a story image in the plurality of story images.

The present disclosure describes techniques for social networking based on collecting asset items. Features may be extracted from an image comprising an object and captured by a camera. The object may be associated with a location. The location may be determined based on information indicating a position where the camera is located. The object may be recognized based at least in part on the features extracted from the image. An asset item may be displayed in response to recognizing the object.

Example implementations include a method, apparatus and computer-readable medium for decentralized procedural digital asset creation, comprising receiving a first request to create a digital asset from an application executing an augmented reality effect on a computing device, wherein the first request includes an identifier associated with a user of the application. The implementations further include generating the digital asset and metadata of the digital asset, wherein the metadata includes information about characteristics of the digital asset and ownership of the digital asset by the user. Additionally, the implementations further include storing the metadata on a blockchain. Additionally, the implementations further include receiving a second request to access the digital asset from the application. Additionally, the implementations further include transmitting, to the application for rendering, the metadata stored on the blockchain in response to validating the identifier associated with the user in the second request.

Decentralized procedural digital asset creation in augmented reality applications

Example implementations include a method, apparatus and computer-readable medium for managing augmented reality (AR) effects on a blockchain, comprising receiving a request to convert an AR effect into a decentralized digital asset. The implementations further include uploading an AR effect package comprising execution files of the AR effect to a decentralized server connected to a peer-to-peer network. The implementations further include generating metadata associated with the AR effect package, wherein the metadata indicates attributes of the AR effect and a storage address of the AR effect package in the decentralized server. The implementations further include generating a token universal resource identifier (tokenURI) linked to the metadata and generating, using a smart contract, the decentralized digital asset corresponding to the AR effect package and the tokenURI for storage on the blockchain and subsequent access by a content creation application.

Augmented reality effects on blockchain

The present disclosure describes techniques for social networking based on trading asset items. The techniques comprise sending a request by a first client computing device for connecting with a second client computing device, displaying a first video comprising a first user and a second video comprising a second user on an interface, determining a first body part of the first user based on a selection of a representative of a first asset item associated with the second user, determining a position of rendering an image of the first asset item on the interface, rendering the image of the first asset item and combining the image into the first video for display of an effect of the first asset item being tried on the first body part of the first user, and receiving the first asset item from the second user based on the effect and user input.
