Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method, an electronic device, and a computer program product for scheduling data collection. The method includes acquiring a plurality of running parameters of a storage system. The method further includes determining a plurality of grade ranges of each of the plurality of running parameters, the grade ranges indicating degrees of impact on scheduling for data collection. The method further includes determining a plurality of relevancies of the plurality of running parameters for the plurality of grade ranges. The method further includes determining scheduling for the data collection based on the plurality of relevancies. The method can dynamically determine when to perform data collection, thus avoiding data loss.

Techniques provide for data synchronization. For example, such a technique may involve: obtaining respective synchronization characteristics of a group of synchronization jobs to be processed, each synchronization characteristic indicating at least one of an expected completion time instant and an amount of data to be synchronized of a corresponding synchronization job; prioritizing the group of the synchronization jobs based on the synchronization characteristics; and controlling execution of the group of the synchronization jobs based on a result of the prioritizing. Accordingly, high priority is given to the synchronization jobs which can be rapidly completed thereby improving the Recovery Point Objective (RPO) achievement rate before occurrence of a failure.

A group of state data of storage space in a storage system is collected according to a predetermined time interval, the group of state data being collected at a group of time points, respectively, and the group of time points being divided according to the predetermined time interval. The group of state data is compared with a threshold condition of the storage system, the threshold condition representing that storage space in the storage system is to be exhausted. An association relationship between a state of storage space in the storage system and a future time point is generated based on the group of state data in accordance with determining at least one state data in the group of state data satisfies the threshold condition. A state estimate of storage space in the storage system at a specified future time point is obtained based on the generated association relationship.
