This application provides a data processing method and a communication apparatus, and relates to the field of communication technologies. The method can be used for downlink data processing and uplink data processing. The communication apparatus may receive a reference signal, and obtain a first matrix based on the reference signal. The first matrix is an autocorrelation matrix whose dimension is N rows and N columns, and N indicates a quantity of channels of an antenna array. Based on the first matrix, channels in different rows of the antenna array are averaged to obtain a second matrix, where a dimension of the second matrix is N/(x×R) rows and N/(x×R) columns; R represents a quantity of channel rows of the antenna array; x represents polarization of the antenna array.

Data processing method and communication apparatus

This application provides a method for obtaining downlink channel information. The method includes: performing precoding weighting on M CSI-RSs of each of N sub-cycles, where each sub-cycle is a quantity of measurement pilot subframes for bearing and transmitting the M CSI-RSs; sending the M weighted CSI-RSs to UE; receiving M PMIs and M CQIs that are sent by the UE and that correspond to the M CSI-RSs, where the M PMIs and the M CQIs are obtained by the UE by separately measuring the M weighted CSI-RSs based on a set a rankprecoding codebooks corresponding to the predetermined antenna quantity; obtaining M signal-to-noise ratios of a downlink channel of the UE according to the M CQIs; obtaining M equivalent codebooks according to the M PMIs and weights of the precoding weighting; and obtaining a covariance matrix according to the M signal-to-noise ratios and the M equivalent codebooks.

A resource allocation method for MIMO (multi-input multi-output-OFDM (orthogonal frequency-division multiplex) of multi-user access systems includes A) for each sub-carrier or group of sub-carriers of OFDM, grouping signature vectors of users at a time period according to correlations of the signature vectors; B) from the grouping results, selecting the signature vectors according to a scheduling rule; assigning the sub-carrier frequency and time resource to users of which simultaneously the selected signature vectors have low correlations; and assigning spatial resource to the users corresponding to the selected signature vectors. By minimizing the spatial co-channel interference to an acceptable low level, the complexity significantly in the joint multi-user optimization is reduced.

Resource allocation method for MIMO-OFDM of multi-user access systems

The present disclosure relates to communication technologies and discloses a method and apparatus for multi-antenna transmitting based on spatial-frequency encoding. The method includes: performing spatial-frequency encoding on input data and outputting encoded data; mapping the encoded data to the same sub-carrier of each antenna in an antenna group; adding a phase shift to the encoded data on different sub-carriers of each antenna; OFDM-modulating the phase-shifted encoded data on each antenna; and transmitting the OFDM-modulated data by transmit antennas.
