A plug connector includes a mating tongue defining top and bottom surfaces thereon. Each surface is provided with a plurality of conductors in one row wherein the characters/categories of the conductors on the top surface are sequentially arranged to be same with those on the bottom surface with a pair of power conductors in two notches at two lateral side edges. The corresponding receptacle connector mounted upon a printed circuit board, defines a receiving cavity to receive the mating tongue therein. Opposite top and bottom rows of contacts are respectively located by upper and bottom sides of the receiving cavity and categorized essentially in a same sequence with the conductors of the plug connector for respectively connecting to the corresponding conductive pads, respectively. A pair of power contacts are located by two lateral sides of the receiving cavity to couple to the corresponding power conductor portions in the notches.

Flippable electrical connector

An opto-electronic device includes an optical engine module and an electrical socket. The optical engine module includes an optical engine, an optical transmission interface for coupling with an optical device and an electrical transmission interface, the electrical transmission interface having electrical pads. The electrical socket includes a plurality of BGA terminals, each terminal having a module-connecting end and a board-connecting end. The electrical transmission interface is removeably assembled in the electrical socket and the electrical pads contact the module-connecting ends of the electrical socket.

Integrated and sealed opto-electronic device assembly

An opto-electronic device assembly adapted for mounted on a mother board includes a case and opto-electronic devices. The case has multiple cavities opening forwards and downwards. Each opto-electronic device includes an optical engine module and an electrical socket. The optical engine module includes an optical engine, an optical transmission interface and an electrical transmission interface with electrical pads. The electrical socket has a plurality of terminals with one ends contacting with PCB and another opposite ends contacting with the electrical pads. Each electrical transmission interface is removeably assembled in the electrical sockets to complete electrical connection between the substrate and the mother board. The opto-electrical devices are received in the cavities in a condition that the optical transmission interfaces exposes to a front open of the case.

An optical-electrical hybrid transmission cable (), comprises an insulative layer (); a shielding layer located on an inner side of the insulative layer; an optical cable () disposed in the shielding layer and comprising two optical fibers () and an insulative sheath () enclosing the two optical fibers; a pair of signal wires () twisted together and disposed in the shielding layer; and a pair of power wires disposed in the shielding layer. And the optical cable, the pair of signal wires and the pair of power wires are arranged along a circumferential direction.

A cable connector assembly () in accordance with the present invention includes a printed circuit board () having a number of signal and ground pads () alternatively arranged at opposite front and rear ends () thereof, a conductive wire organizer () including a body portion () defining a number of through holes () and a number of ground plates () integrally extending forwardly from the body portion to electrically connecting with the ground pads of the printed circuit board, and a number of wires () protruding through the through holes of the wire organizer.
