A cell activation reactor and a cell activation method are provided. The cell activation reactor includes a body, a rotating part, an upper cover, a microporous film, and multiple baffles. The body has an accommodating space, which is suitable for accommodating multiple cells and multiple magnetic beads. The rotating part is disposed in the accommodating space and includes multiple impellers. The microporous film is disposed in the accommodating space and covers multiple holes of the accommodating space. The baffles are disposed in the body. When the rotating part is driven to rotate, the interaction between the baffles and the impellers separates the cells and the magnetic beads.

Cell activation reactor and cell activation method

Methods of amplifying and determining a target nucleotide sequence are provided. The method of amplifying the target nucleotide sequence includes the following steps. A first adaptor and a second adaptor are linked to two ends of a double-stranded nucleic acid molecule with a target nucleotide sequence respectively to form a nucleic acid template, in which the first adaptor includes a Y-form adaptor or a hairpin adaptor and the second adaptor is a hairpin adaptor. Then, a PCR amplification cycle is performed on the nucleic acid template to obtain a PCR amplicon of the target nucleotide sequence.

Method of amplifying and determining target nucleotide sequence

A cell culture device includes a culture unit, a gas supply unit, a first pressure unit, at least one inspecting unit and a control unit. The culture unit contains a cell culture liquid. The gas supply unit, connected with the culture unit, is used for transmitting a culture gas into the culture unit. The first pressure unit, connected with the culture unit, is used for applying a pressure to the cell culture liquid in the culture unit. The at least one inspecting unit, connected with the culture unit, is used for receiving the cell culture liquid for inspection. The control unit, electrically coupled with the culture unit, the first pressure unit, the gas supply unit and the at least one inspecting unit, is used for monitoring corresponding condition parameters to determine respective operations. In addition, a cell culture method for the cell culture device is also provided.

Cell culture device and method thereof

A method for in vitro activation and/or expansion of immune cells is provided, including the steps of: a) providing magnetic particles having multi-protrusive surface modified with at least one type of immuno-inducing substance, in which each magnetic particle includes a copolymer core, a polymer layer, a magnetic substance layer, and a silicon-based layer from the inside to the outside; b) providing a cell solution including at least one type of immune cell in the cell solution; and c) bringing the magnetic particles in contact with the cell solution, in which the at least one type of immuno-inducing substance on the surface of the magnetic particle activates and/or expands the at least one type of immune cell in the cell solution.

Method for in vitro activation and/or expansion of immune cells

A nucleic acid-drug complex is provided in the present disclosure, which includes a nucleic acid sequence of an anti-PD-L1 aptamer and a CpG oligonucleotide sequence capable of activating TLR9, in which the CpG oligonucleotide sequence consists of a first fragment and a second fragment, and the nucleic acid sequence of the anti-PD-L1 aptamer is inserted between the first fragment and the second fragment.

Nucleic acid-drug complex and use thereof

A biological sample processing device includes a base, a purification unit, a metering unit and a first tube. The purification unit is disposed on the base and is configured to purify a sample. The metering unit is disposed on the base and has an inlet, at least one metering trough and an overflow trough. The inlet is connected to the purification unit via the first tube, and the metering trough is connected between the inlet and the overflow trough. The sample from the purification unit is configured to enter the metering unit through the inlet to be moved toward the metering trough, and to be moved toward the overflow trough after the metering trough is filled with the sample.

Biological sample processing device

A convective polymerase chain reaction apparatus includes a tube, a temperature control unit, at least one light source and a sensor. The tube includes a cavity used to contain a reaction solution. The reaction solution has a liquid level measured from a bottom of the cavity to a top surface of the reaction solution. The temperature control unit is disposed adjacent to the tube for controlling the temperature of the reaction solution. The at least one light source provides a light beam passing through an incident portion of the tube to excite the reaction solution emitting a fluorescent light. The incident portion is located at a height greater than &#xbd; of a liquid level. The sensor is adjacent to the tube for detecting the excited fluorescence. The light beam has an incident direction forming a non-straight angle with a long axis of the tube.

Convective polymerase chain reaction apparatus and optical detecting method thereof

A method for detecting metal ions and chemical/biochemical molecules is provided. The method includes providing a probe, wherein the probe includes: a gold nanocluster; a reducing agent and a chelating agent partially capped on a surface of the gold nanocluster, wherein the probe is formed of reducing gold ions by the reducing agent, and the gold ions and the reducing agent have a molar ratio of 1:0.7 to 1:1.9. The probe may interact with several metal ions of an aqueous solution to produce different changes of fluorescent spectra. Chemical/biochemical molecules can be detected by the fluorescent spectra difference caused by the interaction between the metal ions and the chemical/biochemical molecules.

Probe and method for detecting metal ions and chemical/biochemical molecules

A gold nanocluster composition and method for preparing the same are provided. The method includes providing a gold ion-containing solution. Next, the method entails mixing the gold ion-containing solution and a reducing agent solution to obtain a first mixture liquid, and heating the first mixture liquid to obtain a second mixture liquid, wherein the second mixture liquid contains the gold nanoclusters, which are partially capped by reducing agent.

Kit for detecting a mutation and/or polymorphism of a specific region in a target nucleotide sequence

A method for isolating nucleic acids is provided. The method includes providing a biological sample containing at least one nucleic acid, and mixing the biological sample with an isolating agent under a suitable condition to isolate the nucleic acids from the biological sample in single step, wherein the isolating agent contains 1-40 wt % of PEG and/or more than 30 wt % of low molecular weight alcohol, a salt, and a detergent. Isolated nucleic acids are bound to a solid support by changes in the solubility of nucleic acids. Additionally, the present invention further provides an isolating agent and kit for isolating nucleic acids.

A fluid analyzing apparatus. The fluid analyzing apparatus sequentially or simultaneously detects and analyzes a multiplex fluid sample with suitable analyzing elements. Meanwhile, the fluid analyzing apparatus may be disassembled to a first unit, a second unit and a third unit, such that the analyzing elements therein are easily disposed and replaced. The fluid analyzing apparatus analyzes and detects the multiplex fluid sample by allowing the multiplex fluid sample to sequentially or simultaneously flow through a plurality of target chambers. The fluid analyzing apparatus sequentially or simultaneously transports the multiplex fluid sample to the target chambers, thereby enhancing the speed and analysis thereof.

A magnetic particle and fabrication method thereof. The magnetic particle comprises a polymer core, a magnetic material layer covering the polymer core, and a silicon containing layer covering the magnetic material layer. In addition, the magnetic particle may further comprise a coupling agent on the silicon containing layer, and an active molecule connected to the coupling agent. The magnetic particles provide controllable size, uniform diameter distribution, high magnetization, improved storage stability, and modified surface for targeting biomolecules for biomaterial separation and environmental analysis.
