A portable communication device includes an appearance, a substrate and a switchable resonant antenna. The substrate is disposed in the appearance, and the substrate has a ground plane. The switchable resonant antenna comprises a first connection portion, a switching unit, a first metal element and a second metal element, where the first connection portion is electrically coupled between the ground plane and the switching unit, the switching unit is configured to electrically couple the first connection portion to the first metal element or the second metal element according to a control signal generated corresponding to a detecting result, in order to generate a first resonant mode.

Portable communication device

A mobile device having a periphery and including a substrate, a feeding line, and a resonance element is provided. The substrate has a ground plane and the feeding line is disposed on the substrate. The resonance element is formed on at least a portion of the periphery. The resonance element is electrically connected to the feeding line and the ground plane respectively via a first feeding point and a first ground point, so as to form a first excitation path. The resonance element receives and transmits a first radio frequency signal and a second radio frequency signal via the first excitation path.

Mobile device

A mobile device includes a ground element, a conductive bezel, a nonconductive layer, and a feeding element. The conductive bezel is substantially independent of the ground element. A slot is formed in the conductive bezel. The nonconductive layer is affixed to the conductive bezel and covers the slot of the conductive bezel. The feeding element is close to the slot of the conductive bezel and is coupled to a signal source. An antenna structure is formed by the feeding element and the slot.

Mobile device and antenna structure therein

A handheld device includes an antenna area and an outer frame, wherein the outer frame includes a frame body and a carrier. The antenna area is for transmitting a radio frequency signal with a first wavelength and has a ground part and a feeding part. In addition, the ground part within the antenna area is electrically connected to a ground plane. The frame body of the outer frame has an extended area corresponding to the antenna area to form a projected feeding point. The carrier of the outer frame is disposed at the peripheral area of the opening of the frame body, wherein the peripheral area of the frame body has a first ground point electrically connected to the ground plane, and the spacing between the first ground point and the projected feeding point is correlated to the first wavelength.

Handheld device

An antenna with double groundings, including a body part, a feeding part, a first grounding part, and a second grounding part, is provided. The body part is electrically connected to the feeding part, the first grounding part, and the second grounding part respectively. The body part is corresponding to a resonance length to transmit and receive a radiation wave with a wavelength at an operating frequency. Wherein, a current path from the first grounding part to the feeding part along the body part is &#xbd; times of the wavelength at the operating frequency, and a relative distance between the second grounding part and the first grounding part is &#xbc; times of the wavelength at the operating frequency.

Antenna with double groundings

A handset device including a ground plane, an antenna, a first conductive strip and a second conductive strip is provided. The antenna is electrically connected to the ground plane and forms a current loop with the ground plane. The ground plane forms a current area according to the current loop. The first conductive strip is electrically connected to the current area and changes a current distribution on the ground plane to increase a current density passing through the current area.

Handset device

An electronic apparatus with a hidden antenna comprises a metal frame and a substrate. The metal frame comprises a plurality of side walls and a notch is passed through at least one side wall. A feeding terminal is configured at a bottom side of the notch. A first shorting terminal and a second shorting terminal are configured at two lateral sides of the notch. A metal surface of the substrate is electrically connected to the first shorting terminal, the second shorting terminal and the side walls, and the notch is faced to the substrate. The metal frame receives or transmits an electromagnetic signal, and delivers the electromagnetic signal over the feeding terminal, and a length of the bottom side of the notch is one half of a wavelength of the electromagnetic signal.
