A method of labeling training data includes inputting a plurality of unlabeled input data samples into each of a plurality of pre-trained neural networks and extracting a set of feature embeddings from multiple layer depths of each of the plurality of pre-trained neural networks. The method also includes generating a plurality of clusterings from the set of feature embeddings. The method also includes analyzing, by a processing device, the plurality of clusterings to identify a subset of the plurality of unlabeled input data samples that belong to a same unknown class. The method also includes assigning pseudo-labels to the subset of the plurality of unlabeled input data samples.

Using multiple trained models to reduce data labeling efforts

Techniques and apparatuses are described that implement a metal structure for steering and broadening millimeter-wave (mmWave) antenna coverage. A user device includes at least one mmWave antenna that produces a near-field radiation region and a far-field radiation pattern. Disposed within the near-field radiation region is the metal structure comprising one or more metal pieces. The metal pieces are able to reflect energy associated with the far-field radiation pattern or produce another far-field radiation pattern based on currents induced in the metal pieces by the near-field radiation region in such a way that the far-field radiation pattern from the mmWave antenna is positively affected (e.g., steered and/or broadened). In this way, the far-field radiation pattern can be effectively steered and/or broadened with a simple cost and space-effective design.

Methods and systems provide for applying a video effect to a video corresponding to a participant within a video communication session. The system displays a video for each of at least a subset of the participants and a user interface including a selectable video effects UI element. The system receives a selection by a participant of the video effects UI element. In response to receiving the selection, the system displays a variety of video effects options for modifying the appearance of the video and/or modifying a visual representation of the participant. The system then receives a selection by the participant of a video effects option, and further receives a subselection for customizing the amount of the video effect to be applied. The system then applies, in real time or substantially real time, the selected video effect in the selected amount to the video corresponding to the participant.

This document describes low-footprint dual-band ultra-wideband (UWB) antenna modules. A described UWB antenna module may be used as an internal part of a mobile device (e.g., cellphone, tablet, and/or other mobile devices). The UWB antenna module includes a multi-layer dual-band antenna that includes a set of multi-layer patch antennas, each patch antenna including a layer with a conductive ground plate, a feeding plate layer, and a parasitic strip layer with two parasitic strips, one configured to resonate at a frequency within a first band of the dual-band antenna, the other configured to resonate at a frequency within a second band of the dual-band antenna. The parasitic strips are electromagnetically coupled to the feeding plate.

A personal pet carrier according to an embodiment may include a bag portion to house the lower body of a pet. The sides of the bag may include open slits to facilitate scooping the pet's hind quarters and lower body into the bag. Side straps are provided near the top of the slits. A molle harness system enables the side straps to be positioned at different heights to accommodate the size of the pet. A collar strap and choke prevention strap connected between the collar strap and the front side of the bag may be provided to further secure the pet.

A method of labeling a dataset includes inputting a testing set comprising a plurality of input data samples into a plurality of pre-trained machine learning models to generate a set of embeddings output by the plurality of pre-trained machine learning models. The method further includes performing an iterative cluster labeling algorithm that includes generating a plurality of clusterings from the set of embeddings, analyzing the plurality of clusterings to identify a target embedding with a highest duster quality, analyzing the target embedding to determine a compactness for each of the plurality of clusterings of the target embedding, and identifying a target cluster among the plurality of clusterings of the target embedding based on the compactness. The method further includes assigning pseudo-labels to the subset of the plurality of input data samples that are members of the target duster.

A method of labeling a dataset of input samples for a machine learning task includes selecting a plurality of pre-trained machine learning models that are related to a machine learning task. The method further includes processing a plurality of input data samples through each of the pre-trained models to generate a set of embeddings. The method further includes generating a plurality of clusterings from the set of embeddings. The method further includes analyzing, by a processing device, the plurality of clusterings to extract superclusters. The method further includes assigning pseudo-labels to the input samples based on analysis.

A method for predicting the realism of an object within an image includes generating a training image set for a predetermined object type. The training image set comprises one or more training images at least partially generated using a computer. A pixel level training spatial realism map is generated for each training image of the one or more training images. Each training spatial realism map configured to represent a perceptual realism of the corresponding training image. A predictor is trained using the training image set and the corresponding training spatial realism maps. An image of the predetermined object is received. A spatial realism map of the received image is produced using the trained predictor.

The model is applied to a set of tenants waiting to be on-boarded to a workload to identify a metric indicative of likely tenant usage of the workload. A subset, of the set of tenants, are identified for on-boarding, based upon the metric, and on-boarding functionality is controlled to the identified subset of tenants.

A compression system for an ergonomic backpack is disclosed. The backpack includes a backpack body having a top side, a bottom side, two lateral sides, a body side, an outer side and a pair of shoulder straps. In the embodiment, each shoulder strap is connected at a junction of the top side and the body side, extended along the corresponding lateral side, threaded through the D-ring with a distal end connected to the backpack body at a junction of the outer side and the lateral side. The invention also comprises an optional back panel and an optional back support device, secured to the body side. The back panel and support device may be filled with padding material such as a gel, foam, rubber, fluid or the like. When the user ties the two straps, the backpack is automatically compressed and moves closer to the user's back The system, operated like a regular two-strap backpack, allows the user to carry heavier loads for a longer period of time with less fatigue.
