An expandable spinal implant includes a flexible body, an expander component, a fastener and an anti-reverse mechanism. The flexible body includes a base portion and flexible arms each having a free end and a fixed end connecting the base portion. The flexible arms surround an installation space. The expander component is partially in the installation space and exerts pressure on the free ends to move the free ends away from one another. The fastener includes a head portion and a screw portion. The head portion and the expander component are at opposite sides of the base portion. The screw portion passes through the base portion and screwed into the expander component. The anti-reverse mechanism is fixed to the base portion and blocks one side of the head portion located away from the expander component. The anti-reverse mechanism and the expander component are at opposite sides of the base portion.

Expandable spinal implant

A tissue scaffold for use in a tendon and/or ligament is provided, which includes a weave formed by interlacing warp yarns and weft yarns, wherein the warp yarns include a plurality of fibers with an alternative shaped cross section structure, and the weave includes: a main body area with a bioactive component formed on the fiber surface, and a fixed area comprises the weft yarn having a bioceramic material. The tissue scaffold prepared in the present disclosure has the characteristics of stimulating the growth of tissues and inducing tissue repair, effectively improving the ability of tissue regeneration and bone healing, and is beneficial to the reconstruction of the tendon and/or ligament.

Tissue scaffold for use in tendon and/or ligament

This disclosure relates to a surgical tool configured for holding an implant includes an inner rod and a sleeve. The inner rod includes a rod portion and a holding portion. The holding portion is located at one end of the rod portion and has a first accommodation space configured for accommodating at least part of the implant. The sleeve includes a sleeving portion and a retaining portion. The sleeving portion is slidably sleeved on the rod portion of the inner rod. The retaining portion is located at one end of the sleeving portion and selectively presses against the holding portion. The inner rod further includes at least one fin portion protruded from the holding portion and located in the first accommodation space for being inserted into at least one slot of the implant.

Surgical tool for implant

A tissue repair device and a method for using the same are provided. The tissue repair device includes a body portion and at least one wire. The body portion includes an inner layer and an outer layer. The inner layer is close to a tissue, wherein the inner layer includes a hydrophilic structure, and the outer layer includes a hydrophobic structure. The wire is connected to the body portion to fix the body portion to the tissue.

Tissue repair device and method for using the same

The disclosure relates to a spinal intervertebral body fusion device including an adjustable spacer, a first and second pushing piece, and an operative piece. The adjustable spacer includes a first and second supporting plate. The first supporting plate portion is movably installed on the second supporting plate portion. The first and second supporting plate portions form a first and second opening respectively located at two opposite sides of the adjustable spacer. The first pushing piece located at the first opening and is partially clamped by the first and second supporting plate portions. The second pushing piece located at the second opening is partially clamped by the first and second supporting plate portions. The operative piece is movably disposed through the second pushing piece and screwed to the first pushing piece. The operative piece has an annular slot, and the second pushing piece is partially located in the annular slot.

Spinal intervertebral body fusion device

An artificial intervertebral disc is configured to be inserted between adjacent human vertebrae. The artificial intervertebral disc includes a first connection block, a joint block and a second connection block. The joint block has a convex surface and a rear surface. The rear surface of the joint block is stacked on the first connection block. The second connection block is slidably stacked on the convex surface of the joint block, such that the second connection block is movable relative to the first connection block. In addition, the convex surface is a curved surface, and the convex surface is arranged off-axis with respect to the rear surface.

Artificial intervertebral disc

A low-profile offset-type spinal fusion device includes a first screw, a connection base, a nut and a compression part. The first screw has an external thread and a flange. The connection base includes a penetration part and a connection part disposed no higher than the penetration part, and can sleeve the first screw through a first hole of the penetration part to contact the flange with opposite ends of the first screw protruding out of the first hole. The nut, used to engage the first screw, has a bottom surface to contact against the penetration part. When the first screw is installed by penetrating the first hole, the nut and the flange are located to opposite ends of the first hole. The compression part is to screw into a cavity of the connection part for depressing a connecting bar tightly in the cavity.

Low-profile offset-type spinal fusion device

The disclosure relates to a vertebral body implant including a flexible main body and at least one pedicle screw joint. The flexible main body is an integrally formed single piece having at least one joint-accommodating hole and at least one opening connected to the at least one joint-accommodating hole. The pedicle screw joint is an integrally formed single piece movably accommodated in the at least one joint-accommodating hole.

Vertebral body implant

A bone implant includes at least one spiral and at least one pillar. The spiral surrounds an accommodating space. The pillar is disposed in the accommodating space and connected to the spiral. The pillar has at least one notch.

Bone implant

An artificial joint includes a first joint assembly and a second joint assembly. The first joint assembly is adapted to be connected to a first bone and has a first contacting surface, wherein the first contacting surface includes a first convex arc surface, a second convex arc surface, and a third convex arc surface. The second joint assembly is adapted to be connected to a second bone and has a second contacting surface, wherein the second contacting surface is in contact with the first contacting surface and includes a first concave arc surface, a second concave arc surface, and a third concave arc surface, and the first concave arc surface, the second concave arc surface, and the third concave arc surface respectively correspond to the first convex arc surface, the second convex arc surface, and the third convex arc surface.

Artificial joint

An osteo-implant is provided, having a fixing segment and an implant end. The fixing segment is provided with a thread and at least one bone healing chamber. The bone healing chamber is located at a thread root of the thread. The bone healing chamber is a chamber inwardly depressed from a surface of the fixing segment. The fixing segment has a central axis. In the same section of the fixing segment, an area of a section, which is parallel to and passes through the central axis, of the at least one bone healing chamber closer to the implant end is smaller.

Osteo-implant

An osteo-implant including two end portions, at least one middle structure, and a plurality of connection portions is provided. The middle structure is disposed between the two end portions and includes a plurality of middle portions. The middle portions are connected to the two end portions through the connection portions. When the two end portions are moved relatively along an axial direction of the osteo-implant, the two end portions drive the middle portions to push with each other and have displacements along a radial direction of the osteo-implant through the connection portions, such that an outer diameter of the osteo-implant is increased by the middle portions.

An implant device for osseous integration includes a plurality of connection bars and at least one frame bar. These connection bars are connected with each other to form a three-dimensional (3D) grid structure. The frame bar is connected with at least two of the connection bars to define at least one edge of the 3D grid structure. Wherein, the frame bar has a diameter substantially greater than that of these connection bars.
