The present disclosure discloses a tripod for 3D modeling and a method for determining camera capture parameters, including the height and the direction of the camera lens. The tripod includes a telescopic rod, a mobile phone holder, a mounting support, and a floor stand. The telescopic rod is formed by multiple sections of nested hollow round rods, and the round rods can be extended and locked. The mobile phone holder is attached to the telescopic rod through a mobile phone holder install base. The mounting support is set on the top of the telescopic rod. The floor stand is set at the bottom of the telescopic rod. The telescopic rod is vertically set on a plane through the floor stand. There are three sets of the floor stand brackets that are evenly set around the telescopic rod. According to the present disclosure, contrasting colors are used at the bottom of the tripod where it touches the floor to help recognize these points. The height of the tripod can be accurately calculated by measuring the distance between these points in the image captured by the camera. The mobile phone holder is attached to the tripod, and a direction sensor of the mobile phone is used to record the direction during capture, so that the direction of camera capture can be obtained even when the camera does not have a direction sensor. The tripod features a simple structure, easy operation, low costs, and a compact storage which is easy to carry.

The present disclosure discloses a photography-based 3D modeling system and method, and an automatic 3D modeling apparatus and method, including: (S) attaching a mobile device and a camera to the same camera stand; (S) obtaining multiple images used for positioning from the camera or the mobile device during movement of the stand, and obtaining a position and a direction of each photo capture point, to build a tracking map that uses a global coordinate system; (S) generating 3D models on the mobile device or a remote server based on an image used for 3D modeling at each photo capture point; and (S) placing the individual 3D models of all photo capture points in the global three-dimensional coordinate system based on the position and the direction obtained in S, and connecting the individual 3D models of multiple photo capture points to generate an overall 3D model that includes multiple photo capture points.

A method for reconstructing a three-dimensional space scene based on photographing is disclosed, comprising the following steps: S, importing photos of all spaces, and making the photos correspond to a three-dimensional space according to directions and viewing angles during capture, so that a viewing direction of each pixel, when viewed from the camera position of the three-dimensional space, is in line with that during capture; S, regarding a room as a set of multiple planes, determining a first plane, and then determining all the planes one by one according to relationships and intersections between the planes; S, marking a spatial structure of the room by a marking system and obtaining dimension information; and S, establishing a three-dimensional space model of the room by point coordinate information collected in the step S. In the present disclosure, the three-dimensional space model of a scene including dimensions and texture can be restored with no details lost; meanwhile, the three-dimensional space scene can be edited and modified quickly and conveniently, and a two-dimensional floor plan with dimensions and adequate accuracy can also be generated.
