At a server system, event data is received that was sent over a network to the server system. The event data reflects one or more application events generated by at least one hosted application. The hosted application is executed on one or more servers and being accessible by a user over a network using a user client device. The event data is stored at the server system. A request to view information regarding events generated by the hosted application is received at the server system and from an administrator client device over a network. The stored event data is received. At the administrator client device and based on the retrieved event data, a display of information regarding application events is generated by the hosted application.

Event management for hosted applications

The subject matter of this disclosure can be implemented in, among other things, a method. In these examples, the method includes receiving electronic records that each correspond to an event associated with an application service of a group of application services provided by a server, wherein the application service comprises an online or web-based software application, and wherein each electronic record includes at least a time of its corresponding event, user identification information of a user of the application service, and a indicator of a status of the corresponding event. The method may also include generating application service status information for the user identified by the user identification information based on the one or more electronic records, wherein the application service status information includes status information for at least the application service, and wherein the application service status information reflects a number of errors experienced by the application service.

Personalized availability characterization of online application services

The present invention provides a method and system for depicting an online map of a route along with any incidents on the route. To create the map, a consumer first provides the origination and destination addresses of the route, then a proposed route is provided for their approval. The consumer may modify the proposed route or accept it. Next, the route is analyzed to determine if any incidents have occurred upon it. This analysis comprises preparing the route by creating regions of interest around segments composing the route, examining if any traffic incidents fall within one or more of the regions of interest, and determining for those incidents if the incident is closer than a threshold value to any segment on the route. The final route along with any incidents on the route is then depicted for the consumer.

Method and system for matching an incident to a route

The present invention provides a method and system for depicting an online map of a route along with any incidents on the route. To create the online map of a route along with any incidents on the route, a consumer first provides the origination and destination addresses of the route. Once the consumer provides the origination and destination addresses of the route a proposed route is provided for their approval. The consumer may modify the proposed route or accept it as the final route they desire. This analysis comprises preparing the route by creating regions of interest around the segments composing the route, examining if any traffic incidents fall within one or more of the regions of interest, and then determining for those incidents that do fall within a region of interest if the incident is closer than a threshold value to any segment on the route.
