Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for communicating time synchronized data between a client and a server. An example method generally includes synchronizing, by a client, a clock of the client with a clock source. The method also includes transmitting, from the client to a server, at an application level, information indicating the clock source, a cell identifier of a serving cell of the client, and accuracy of the clock source as a time value. The method further includes transmitting, from the client to the server, a message including data and a timestamp correlated to an event associated with the data based on the clock. The method also includes in response to the message, receiving, by the client from the server, generated data.

End-to-end time synchronization for cloud-based services

Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, an application server may receive an indication that a handover is likely for a user equipment (UE), wherein the UE is in communication with the application server to receive a data stream. The application server may provide the data stream using values of one or more parameters to reduce an impact of a communication interruption associated with the handover. A user equipment (UE), such as a UE associated with an extended reality (XR) device, may obtain frame data from one or more cameras associated with the UE. The UE may determine a path of a beam providing communication between the UE and a base station, determine a location of a base station in communication with the UE, or both, where the base station location may be relative to a location of the UE. The UE may identify, based on the frame data, the path of the beam, the base station location, the UE location, or a combination thereof, a physical blockage to the communication. The UE may perform beam management for the communication based on identifying the physical blockage, so as to mitigate the impact the physical blockage may have on the communications between the UE and the base station.

The method may include a user equipment (UE) generating a set of multimedia packets including a first multimedia packet and a second multimedia packet that is generated after the first multimedia packet. The UE may add the set of multimedia packets to a queue and apply an uplink packet handling protocol. Using the uplink packet handling protocol, the UE may discard the first multimedia packet and transmit, to a base station, the second multimedia packet. Using the second multimedia packet, a server in communication with the base station may generate a video frame and transmit the video frame to the UE via the base station.

A user equipment (UE) may receive multiple transport blocks (TBs) representing an application data unit (ADU) from a base station. The base station may transmit an indication that the UE is to provide ADU level feedback. In some aspects, a UE may receive, from a base station, a downlink packet comprising broadcast or multicast (broadcast/multicast) Ethernet data for a protocol data unit (PDU) session of the UE with a data network (DN) associated with the base station, determining whether the downlink packet corresponds to an uplink packet previously transmitted to the base station by the UE, discarding the downlink packet for the PDU session based on determining that the UE previously transmitted the corresponding uplink packet comprising the broadcast/multicast Ethernet data for the PDU session to the base station, and processing the downlink packet for the PDU session based on determining that the UE did not previously transmit the corresponding uplink packet.

In an example, a method includes a first node receiving a precision time protocol (PTP) message, identifying one or more timing domains to be supported by the first node based at least in part on the PTP message, and sending, to a second node of the wireless communication network, an indicator of the one or more timing domains to be supported by the first node. Another example at a node includes receiving, from additional nodes of the wireless communication network, indicators of one or more timing domains supported by the additional nodes, receiving a PTP message associated with a timing domain, and sending the PTP message to a subset of the additional nodes based at least in a part on the indicators of one or more timing domains supported by the additional nodes.

A network node may determine a first time location associated with a peak in data traffic for multiple devices in communication with a communications network including the network node. The network node may determine a second time location for the peak in the data traffic for a subset of the devices based on a threshold for an overall peak in data traffic for the multiple devices. The network node may transmit a signal that indicates the second time location for the peak in the data traffic for the subset of devices. A user equipment (UE) may receive a downlink control information scheduling transmission of periodic multimedia traffic bursts to the UE with a first periodic cadence. The UE may receive control signaling from the UE indicating that the UE is to periodically transmit sounding reference signals to the base station according to a second cadence, which may be a multiple of the first periodic cadence. Additionally or alternatively, the UE may receive control signaling indicating that the UE is to transmit a sounding reference signal at a time associated with a beginning of at least one of the periodic multimedia traffic bursts.
