The present disclosure is concerned with epilator having an epilator head that has a head housing and a skin contacting unit arranged for being pivotable with respect to the head housing around a first axis and a handle arranged for being held by a user's hand, wherein the epilator head is pivotably connected with the handle and is arranged for being pivotable with respect to the handle around a second axis, the first axis and the second axis being essentially perpendicular to each other and the first axis and the second axis have a distance to each other and wherein the epilator head comprises a neck portion that is connected with the handle to establish a separable but otherwise fixed connection and the head housing comprises a cylindrically or spherically shaped neck wall, which neck wall is arranged to immerse into a hollow defined by the neck portion when the head housing pivots around the second axis.

Epilator

The present disclosure is concerned with an attachment for an epilator or an epilator having an axle arranged for driven movement around a center axle axis, an end plate arranged at a first end of the axle for rotation together with the axle, the end plate having at least a first functional surface, a first clamping element having a functional surface, the first functional surface of the end plate being arranged face-to-face with the functional surface of the first clamping element, and the first clamping element being arranged for repeatedly being moved towards and away from the end plate such that repeatedly a closed position is obtained in which the two functional surfaces abut on each other, wherein the end plate is an outer part of the epilator or the attachment for an epilator.

Attachment for epilator and epilator

An epilator () comprising an epilating unit () for plucking and/or pulling hair () out of the skin () over an epilating width (E). Such an epilator is disadvantageous in that typically not all of the hairs are detected by the epilating unit () and some remain in the skin after the epilation. A subsequent epilation would then be required. In order to solve this problem, the epilator () has a hair removal unit () following the epilating unit () in the direction (B) of use, such that, in at least one operating mode, the hair removal unit () removes the hairs () that have not been pulled out by the epilating unit ().

Epilating device

An epilation device is proposed that has at least an epilation element having a skin side intended for contacting the skin in an operation state of the epilation device, the epilation element having at least two adjoining clamping elements that are arranged on a base structure and that each have a clamping surface so that the clamping surfaces lie opposite to each other, a support in which the epilation element is mounted, and an actuation arrangement that during operation of the epilation device repeatedly actuates the epilation element between a first bending state in which the base structure has a first curvature and a second bending state in which the base structure has a second curvature different to the first curvature, wherein the clamping surfaces the clamping elements are separated by a gap at the skin side in the first bending stage and are in clamping contact in the second bending stage.

Epilation device

A hair removal appliance includes a hand-held part and interchangeable tool attachments. The hand-held part includes a housing on which various tool attachments are mountable, as well as a drive mechanism which is arranged in the housing and includes a driving element to which a respective tool attachment is adapted to be coupled with its attachment-side driving element. The tool attachments each have a coupling portion of identical construction and are connectable to a complementary coupling portion on the hand-held part of the hair removal appliance. Each of the tool attachments includes a driving element adapted to be coupled to a driving element on the side of the hand-held part.

A clamping device for a motor-driven epilation apparatus. The clamping device has a first clamping element with a first contact surface, in the region of which a three-dimensional clamping structure is provided. The clamping device has a second clamping element with a second contact surface. The contact surfaces of the clamping elements are intermittently brought in mutual clamping contact during the operation of the epilation apparatus. The hardness of the second clamping element in the region of the second contact surface is lower than that of the first clamping element in the region of the first contact surface.

A device for use on an epilator having a drivable epilation head with a plurality of clamping elements. The device can be adapted to cover at least one clamping to prevent the clamping element from trapping hairs.

Attachment for an epilator

The invention is directed to an appliance for the epilation of the human skin, having a housing to accommodate a motor and a drive mechanism for driving at least one clamping device () by which the user's hairs can be extracted. Moreover, a stimulation mechanism is provided to reduce the sense of pain during epilation. This mechanism includes at least one element () that is movable toward and away from the skin when the appliance is placed in epilating position on the user's skin. According to certain embodiments of the present invention, the at least one element () has a free end () and is arranged adjacent to the side of the rotary clamping device (). In consequence, the user perceives at least subjectively a reduced sense of pain during epilation. Still further, a method for epilation and a method for the use of the appliance of the present invention are described.

An epilator for plucking hairs from human skin, the epilator having a housing in which an epilating head driven by drive elements and carrying plucking elements is mounted, provision being made in the area of the epilating head for movably mounted driven elements for the mechanical stimulating striking of the skin by a contact element, the striking reducing the subjective pain of epilation to the user.
