A roller press device for milling input material may include a fixedly mounted fixed roller having a roller shaft mounted at least approximately in a fixed position, a loosely mounted loose roller having a roller shaft that can be arranged in a variable position, a frame supporting at least the fixed roller and optionally also the loose roller, and a force application unit acting on the loose roller at a force application point. The fixed and loose rollers can be mounted and positioned relative to one another for applying a milling force. The loose roller may be mounted so as to pivot about a pivot axis in a manner of a one-sided lever such that the relative position of the loose roller relative to the fixed roller can be defined by said pivot movement. The one-sided lever may be formed between the pivot axis and the force application point.

Device and method for milling input material

A roller mill for comminuting bulk material may include a first grinding roller and a second grinding roller that are arranged opposite one another and can be driven in opposite directions. A grinding gap exists between the grinding rollers. A floating bearing unit may be configured to receive the first grinding roller, and a fixed bearing unit may be configured to receive the second grinding roller. The floating bearing unit includes two bearings, each of which receives one end of the first grinding roller. Hydraulic actuators are mounted on the floating bearing unit for applying a force to the floating bearing unit. The bearings of the floating bearing unit are connected to one another via a synchronization device that includes a coupling element, which in a coupling position prevents a relative movement of the bearings and in a free position permits a relative movement of the bearings.

A roller mill for comminution of bulk material may include a first grinding roller and a second grinding roller that are arranged opposite one another and are configured to be driven in opposite directions. The grinding rollers may be positioned with a grinding gap therebetween. A fixed bearing unit may be configured to hold the second grinding roller, and a floating bearing unit may be configured to hold the first grinding roller. Attached to the floating bearing unit are hydraulic actuators for applying a force to the floating bearing unit. The hydraulic actuators are hydraulically connected to a synchronization device. The synchronization device has a plurality of hydraulic cylinders, each having a piston. The pistons may be connected to one another via a mechanical coupling such that movements of the pistons are coupled.

The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for comminuting grinding stock with a roller mill, wherein a grinding plate cooperates with at least two grinding rollers and the grinding stock supplied in the mass flow is comminuted between grinding plate and grinding roller. At least two grinding rollers are driven via dedicated drives, wherein a power compensation control is carried out for the drives of the grinding rollers, such that the power of the drives is controlled in a predefined ratio to one another. The power control is then effected by changing the mass flow of the grinding stock supplied to at least one of the grinding rollers.

In the method according to the invention for the comminution of grinding stock in a vertical roller mill, the grinding stock is fed upstream of at least one grinding roller in order to form a grinding bed and is comminuted between a grinding table and the at least one grinding roller, the grinding bed which is being formed being settable at a differing height over the width of the grinding roller by means of a feeding device.

The roller mill according to the invention is composed essentially of at least two grinding rollers which interact with a grinding plate for comminuting material to be ground, wherein the at least two grinding rollers or the grinding plate and at least one grinding roller are each assigned a separate drive train for driving same, wherein each drive train has a main motor and a main gear mechanism. At least one drive train additionally comprises a superimposition gear mechanism with a regulating drive, wherein an open-loop and closed-loop control device which is connected to the at least one regulating drive is provided, said open-loop and closed-loop control device regulating the power of the separate drive trains with respect to one another by means of the at least one regulating drive.

A roller mill includes a mill housing which defines a grinding chamber, a grinding table which can rotate in the grinding chamber and at least one rotatable grinding roller which is in rolling engagement with the grinding table. A drive which is associated with the grinding roller and which has at least one gearing mechanism is further provided, at least a portion of the gearing mechanism being arranged in the grinding chamber in the region of the grinding roller and being in the form of an epicyclic gear system.

The invention relates to a method for monitoring the load state of a grinding system having rotating grinding elements, the dynamic forces exerted by the grinding stock on the grinding elements being detected in a first frequency range which contains the fundamental oscillation of the grinding elements, and in a second frequency range in which the first harmonic of the fundamental oscillation occurs, and measures for reducing the load state being introduced when the first harmonic exceeds a predetermined threshold value in relation to the magnitude of the fundamental oscillation. Such a method permits very reliable and accurate monitoring of the load state of the grinding system.

The invention relates to a roll mill having a grinding plate rotatable about an axis of rotation, at least one grinding roller in rolling engagement with the grinding plate, and a main drive for driving the grinding plate. An auxiliary drive for driving the grinding plate, and a regulating device are also provided, the regulating device including at least one damping regulator which regulates the auxiliary drive in dependence on torque variations of the main drive and/or variations in the speed of rotation of the grinding plate.

Roll mill

The invention relates to a roller mill having a mill housing, a mill path which is supported so as to be rotatable about a mill axis inside the mill housing, and at least one mill roller which can be rotated about a mill roller shaft and which is engaged with the mill path in terms of rolling action. There is further provided a pivot lever which is for rotatably retaining the mill roller and which has a pivot shaft arranged parallel with the mill roller axis and which is supported outside the mill housing. The pivot lever is further in operational contact with a hydropneumatic resilient system in order to adjust the pressing pressure of the mill roller. The pivot lever is supported outside the mill housing with spacing therefrom in such a manner that the forces which are produced by the hydropneumatic resilient system are dissipated into the mill foundation directly or via pillars.

The invention relates to a roller mill having at least one mill roller and a rotatable mill platen, which are arranged in a mill inner space, and a moment arm which is retained so as to be pivotably movable and rotationally secure in a bearing, with the mill roller being supported in a rotatable manner at one end of the moment arm and there further being provided means for applying a force to the moment arm comprising a pressure cylinder which is in operative contact with the moment arm in order to adjust the mill pressure which is applied by the mill roller. The contact location, at which the force of the pressure cylinder is transmitted to the moment arm, is located outside the mill inner space.
