The container for a molded food product is provided with a hollow body including a bottom wall and a side wall extending from the bottom wall to a wide end provided with a discharge opening. The bottom wall has an outer edge extending around a longitudinal axis of the container and a venting device manually operable to define one or more vent holes in the bottom wall. The venting device includes a push member provided with an actuation portion and at least one first hinge adjacent to the actuation portion. The push member is longitudinally movable between an initial proximal position, in which the vent holes are closed by corresponding closing members, and a predetermined distal position, in which the vent holes are open.

Container for food product having a manually operable actuating member

The plastic container for a molded food product is provided with a hollow body, a bottom and a discharge opening. Frangible connections are distributed in the bottom and thus several distinct bottom regions each including at least one of the frangible connections are defined. A plastic actuating member that is movable relative to the bottom outer edge is configured to actuate simultaneous break of each of the frangible connections, so as to form at least three spaced vent holes in the bottom. The vent holes are arranged around the single actuation portion of the actuating member. Food product can be easily released as one block through the opening, after the container has been unsealed and turned upside down.

Plastic container for food product having a plurality of frangible vent holes

A topper for a container having an upper surface is presented. The topper includes: a body adapted to engage an upper surface of the container, and a movable perforation platform having at least one protruding perforating element. The perforation platform is pushable with respect to the body from a resting position to a working position wherein the perforating element perforates the upper surface of the container. The perforation platform presents in resting position a first orientation and presents in working position a second orientation, the first and the second orientation differing by an angle of less than 30&#xb0; .
