The light-guiding optical unit comprising a light guide made of an optically transparent material having the shape of a plate with top and bottom surfaces, a light unit to emit light rays, and a collimating element comprising the first reflective surface configured to reflect light rays that fall onto it in the direction (A, A) towards the light guide output surface. The top or bottom surface of the light guide has a recess whose surface comprises second and third reflective surfaces, which are configured to reflect light rays falling onto them to respective lateral reflective surfaces that are part of the surface of the light guide. A recess is situated between the first reflective surface and the output surface in such a way that a part of the light rays reflected from the first reflective surface pass through this recess after this reflection before falling onto the output surface.

Light-guiding optical unit and a light-guiding optical system comprising the light-guiding optical units

The light-guiding optical system comprises at least one light guide () made from an optically transparent material with an associated collimating element (), and a light unit () to emit light rays () into the collimating element (). The light guide () comprises on its front side an output surface () for the output of light rays () conducted by the light guide () out of the light guide (), and on its bottom or top side, a binding surface () to bind light rays () collimated by the collimating element () into the light guide (). The light guide () further comprises at least one reflective means () to produce light patterns (A, B, C) on the output surface () that comprises surfaces () configured for total reflection of at least a part of the light rays () falling onto them, a part of the light rays () reflected this way being directed by the reflective means () towards the lateral surfaces () and the remaining part being directed straight to the output surface () of the light guide (). The reflective means () of the light guide () comprises two lateral reflective surfaces () opening from a common contact edge () and configured for total reflection of the incident light rays towards the lateral surfaces (), and one central surface () comprising one or more central reflective surfaces ('), the central surface () touching each of the lateral reflective surfaces () at one point at the most.

Light-guiding optical system

The invention relates to a lighting device with a multiple light function, which comprises a primary light source and secondary light source () associated with optical elements which are adapted to guide light to the output of the device. The primary light source () is associated with collimating elements () and the secondary light source () is associated with light guiding elements (), whereby the collimating elements () and the light guiding elements () are arranged in a common light guiding body (A), the output of the light beams is situated behind the level () of the exit ends of the collimating elements () and on the output side of light guiding body (A) a light scattering filter () is arranged.

Lighting device integrating pair of light functions with collimating elements associated with primary light sources and light guiding elements associated with secondary light sources

A light device, especially a signal lamp for motor vehicles, comprising a carrier bushing () with a translucent cover () and an inner chamber (), wherein a lighting unit () is mounted providing the light signaling function, and one light source (), and a filter () with at least one first input surface () for entry of at least part of light rays () generated by the light sources, and with at least one first output surface () designed to emit first light beam (). The filter includes first segment () with the first output surface and second segment () with at least one second input surface () for entry of at least part of light rays generated by the light sources, and with at least one second output surface (). The shape of the second output surfaces creates a designer element as a light emitting pattern emitted from those surfaces.

Light device, especially a signal lamp for motor vehicles

A lightguide module having a linear collimator produced from optically transparent material, a toroidal lens produced from optically transparent material, and a light source, wherein the toroidal lens is disposed between the linear collimator and the light source, at the exit of the linear collimator are found scattering elements, and wherein a light-emitting part of the light source is directed toward an entry surface of the toroidal lens and an exit surface of the toroidal lens is directed toward entry surfaces of the linear collimator. The light source may be a light-emitting diode and the toroidal lens may be a Fresnel type lens.
