The present technology pertains to a distributed server system for verifying vendors. The distributed server system comprises one or more nodes on a distributed network; a communication interface of a first node that communicates over a communication network with the one or more nodes on the distributed network, wherein the communication interface receives information about a unique seal associated with a product in response to a query; and a processor of the first node that executes instructions stored in memory, wherein execution of the instructions by the processor verifies that a vendor is associated with the unique seal has been appended to a distributed ledger, determines a match between the unique seal and the vendor; and, after determining the match, confirms that the vendor is a certified vendor of the product.

Systems, methods, and devices are disclosed for authenticating and predicting the remaining lifetime of a resold product. Telemetry data is received from a transceiver within the product, which is then stored within a distributed ledger. The lifetime of the product is determined by analyzing the telemetry data in the distributed ledger according to one or more models. In response to receiving a query about the product, the user is granted read access to the distributed ledger, including read access to the determined lifetime of the product and the authentication of the product (in real or near real time).

Example distributed reservation systems and methods are described. In one implementation, multiple storage nodes are configured to store distributed data. Multiple clients are coupled to the multiple storage nodes and access data from the multiple storage nodes. A management server is coupled to the multiple storage nodes and the multiple clients. The management server manages the access of data by the multiple clients and manages reservation of the multiple storage nodes by a particular client.

Example distributed cache systems and methods are described. In one implementation, a method receives a read call at a first call such that the read call identifies specific data. The method identifies multiple storage nodes and multiple connected clients based on information contained in a cache map. The first client sends the read call to the multiple storage nodes and the multiple connected clients. The method determines whether any of the connected clients has cached the specific data. If at least one of the connected clients has cached the specific data, the specific data is accessed from the connected client that has cached the data. If none of the connected clients has cached the specific data, the specific data is accessed from a storage system.
