The luminaire and the lamellae louver () have lamellae () which enclose an acute angle &#x3b4; with a main plane S. The lamellae () may have a kink () in plane S, and additional kinks () laterally of the plane S. The lamellae () prevent glare in plane S and in surrounding planes and thereby allow the luminaire to meet the Unified Glare Rating.

A luminaire suitable for color mixing of light originating from lamps having different color properties has reflectors configured to provide an equal ratio of partial illuminance for each of the color properties at each position of a translucent element, e.g. a diffuser. This provides a uniform color mixing and/or the possibility of adjusting the color properties of the luminaire merely by adjusting the brightness of one or more of the lamps. The reflectors may include top reflectors, side reflectors and/or shielding reflectors positioned between the lamps and the exit window. The shielding reflectors may be configured to partly reflect and partly transmit light.

Lamps and reflector arrangement for color mixing

A luminaire () is disclosed, comprising a main reflector () with a light emission window (), and comprising a counter reflector () positioned opposite to the main reflector. Means () for accommodating at least one electric lamp () are provided in the luminaire in between the main reflector and the counter reflector. The counter reflector is provided with a light-transmitting cover (), acting as an optical waveguide and positioned at a side () of the counter reflector facing away from the means (). The cover is provided with diffusor bodies () which scatter the light coupled into the cover and transmitted through the bulk of the cover. Thus a desired distribution and appearance of the optical brightness of the cover is obtained.

A luminaire includes at least two lamps and a main reflector whose outer edge defines a light emission window. A counter reflector is provided opposite the main reflector. Light originating from the lamps can only leave the luminaire through the light emission window after passing through a diffuser and/or a mixer which are positioned in a counter light emission window of the counter reflector and on an edge of the counter reflector, respectively. Homogeneously mixed light can thus be obtained from the luminaire when two lamps of different color temperatures are used.

Luminaire

The invention is related to a luminaire for housing a tubular lamp. According to the invention the luminaire has a housing with a light emission window, means for accommodating a tubular lamp in it along the window and in a plane P perpendicular to said window, side reflectores, and lamellae positioned between the reflectors and transverse to the emission window. The lamellae having an outer edge, which is diverging from an inner edge from the plane P towards points A and A' on either side of the plane P. From the point A, A&#x2032; the outer edge extends towards the nearby side reflector enclosing at point A an angle with the emission window and directed towards the said side reflector.
