An outdoor camping lamp, which comprises a handle, a top cover, a shade, a lamp socket assembly and a plurality of batteries, the lamp socket assembly includes a lamp socket, a housing, a battery installing bracket and a bottom support, the upper end of the lamp socket is connected with the lower end of the shade, the lower end of the lamp socket is connected with the upper end of the housing, the upper end of the battery installing bracket is connected to the lower end surface of the lamp socket, and the lower end of the battery installing bracket is connected to the upper end surface of the bottom support; both the battery installing bracket and the bottom support are arranged in the housing. With this structure, it is more convenient for replacing the batteries, and parts loss can be avoided, thereby ensuring normal working.

A light producing device, such as a flashlight, may have a clip that is removably attached to a body thereof. The clip may comprise a split ring that substantially encircles the body and has a split therein and may also comprise an elongated portion having a proximal end and a distal end. The elongated portion may be attached to the split ring substantially opposite the split. The clip may be readily removed from the body, such as to better facilitate hand holding of the light producing device, to facilitate maintenance or repair of the light producing device, and/or for storage/transportation of the light producing device.

Light apparatus particularly a headgear light comprising a light body removably securable to a headgear. The preferred embodiment of the light includes a mount assembly including a docking base that is removably attachable to a helmet or other headgear, and provides visible light, invisible light, and friend-or-foe light signals. The light body is compact for easy storage and handling, and can be quickly and easily installed on and removed from the headgear with one hand and without visual reference.

Various lighting devices and related methods of operation are provided which may be used to adjust brightness levels of a plurality of light sources in a staggered fashion in response to a single user control. In one example, a lighting device includes a plurality of light sources. Each light source is adapted to exhibit an associated current brightness level within a range of brightness levels associated with each light source extending from an associated minimum brightness level to an associated maximum brightness level. The lighting device also includes a user control adapted to selectively adjust the current brightness levels exhibited by the light sources in a staggered fashion such that the light sources exhibit different current brightness levels from each other over at least a range of positions of the user control.

Various techniques are provided for implementing a lighting device with selectable output level switching. In one example, a lighting device includes a light source, a controller adapted to provide one or more signals to control the operation of the light source, a power terminal adapted to receive a power source, and a tailcap assembly. The tailcap assembly includes a tailcap, a push button, and a washer disposed in the tailcap. The washer includes at least one arm adapted to be pushed against a surface to selectively connect the controller to the power terminal in response to a manipulation of the tailcap assembly.

A preferred embodiment includes a housing, which may be adapted to be mounted to a gun; a laser module in the housing and including a sleeve having a laser mounted in the sleeve for emitting a laser beam through a front end thereof along the sleeve's longitudinal axis, the sleeve being pivotally mounted in the housing about a first pivot point on the longitudinal axes of the sleeve and the housing; a rocker pivotally mounted in the housing about a second pivot point on the housing's longitudinal axis and spaced from the first pivot point, the rocker coupled to the sleeve for pivoting the sleeve about the first pivot point; and an adjustment apparatus carried by the housing and engaging the rocker for pivotally adjusting position of the rocker about the second pivot point.

Block-bracing apparatus including at least three plugs threadedly engageable through a block, and retaining rings engaging the block threaded oppositely to the threaded plugs and retainably engaging the plugs. A key tool is provided to tighten the plugs and retaining rings. A longitudinally oriented T-rail projects radially from the block. A slide body engages the T-rail and includes a locking mechanism, a lamp assembly, a logically switched power control, a power cable, and a control cable with interchangeable switches.
