It is an object of the invention is a fuel cell system architecture provides a good weight distribution, improved trunk space without reducing the security against front-end and rear end collision. The above objective is accomplished by a fuel cell vehicle comprising:&#x2014;A rear vessel for hydrogen gas located in the rear part of the vehicle,&#x2014;A front vessel for hydrogen gas located in the front part of the vehicle,&#x2014;A hydrogen dosing unit,&#x2014;A hydrogen control unit connected to the hydrogen dosing unit, to the rear vessel and to the front vessel, the hydrogen control unit being provided with first means for equalizing the pressure between the first rear vessel and the front vessel, the hydrogen control unit being provided with second means for transferring hydrogen at a predetermined pressure level to the hydrogen dosing unit from the two vessels,&#x2014;An air supply,&#x2014;A fuel cell connected to the hydrogen dosing unit and the air supply, the air supply being provided with means for providing the fuel cell with air, the hydrogen dosing unit providing the fuel cell with hydrogen,&#x2014;A battery,&#x2014;A DC/DC-converter,&#x2014;The fuel cell being connected to the battery so as to provide the battery with energy, the battery and the DC/DC-converter being interconnected so as to exchange energy, the fuel cell and the battery, being located at the bottom of the vehicle.

The system includes a container for storing the additive and the method includes: obtaining an instantaneous measurement of concentration of additive and/or an instantaneous measurement of alkalinity of the additive and/or an instantaneous measurement of the temperature inside the container, by one or a plurality of measurement sensors mounted inside the container; determining reducing power of the additive based on the instantaneous measurement of concentration of additive and/or an instantaneous measurement of the alkalinity of the additive and/or temperature inside the container; generating a control signal, based on the defined reducing power; transmitting the generated control signal to the component.

Method and system for controlling the operation of a system for storing and injecting an additive into the exhaust gases of an engine

An SCR method for purifying the exhaust gases of an internal combustion engine of a vehicle, according to which ammonia gas is exclusively metered in the exhaust gases, the method comprising a step of releasing ammonia gas from at least one solid absorbing matrix where it is stored by sorption and a step of metering the released ammonia gas in the exhaust gases. The method is such that it comprises a step of regenerating the solid absorbing matrix that consists in: generating a refilling ammonia gas by thermally decomposing an ammonia precursor in a heater mounted on board the vehicle; directing the refilling ammonia gas to the solid absorbing matrix where it is stored thereon.

System and for sealing an opening of a plastic tank with a multilayer wall by means of a multilayer plate itself constituted by a polymer structure including at least one internal barrier layer and an exterior layer compatible with the exterior layer of the tank wall. The wall of the container comprises at least one thick outer layer consisting essentially of a thermoplastic material which imparts good mechanical properties, and a thin inner layer consisting of a thermoplastic material adapted to receive a surface treatment intended to increase its impermeability to hydrocarbons, preferably consisting essentially of one or plurality of virgin polyolefins. The container is particularly suitable for use in automobiles.

The invention relates to a fuel tank produced by moulding a synthetic resin, comprising a breather orifice and a chamber that is intended to contain a substance that adsorbs the fuel vapors. The said chamber has at least one wall portion that is common, and formed integrally by moulding, with a portion of the wall of the tank.

A lighttight package for rolled light-sensitive material includes a core, light-impervious flanges at opposite ends of the core, a roll of the light-sensitive material wound on the core between the flanges, and a light-shielding circumferential wrapper enclosing the roll. The flanges each have a circumferential groove extending radially inwardly from the periphery thereof into which the axial margins of the wrapper are folded radially inwardly and inserted and retained, preferably by a clamping action. The groove is defined between opposed wall sections of the flange and at least one of the wall section can be relatively flexible to facilitate insertion of the wrapper margin therein. The inner termination of the wrapper margin within the groove can be re-entrantly bent and a cord or string can be laid within the re-entrant bend to provide greater security against premature withdrawal of the wrapper margins from the groove. The wrapper can be attached at a trailing edge to the leading end of the material roll so that a free opposite edge of the wrapper can serve as a leader for starting the unwinding of the roll.
