Systems and methods of managing a plurality of Wi-Fi networks via a cloud service include communicating to a plurality of access points in the plurality of Wi-Fi networks, wherein the plurality of access points are deployed in a location that includes any of a multi-dwelling unit (MDU), office space, retail space, mixed-use space, and common areas; providing end user management access to a plurality of end users each associated with one of the plurality of Wi-Fi networks; providing property manager management access to a property manager associated with the location and with any additional locations; and providing service provider management access to a service provider associated with the location.

A method, implemented in a router in a Communication Service Provider (CSP) network, includes connecting to a device via at least two connections where a first connection includes a first Wide Area Network (WAN) interface and a second connection includes a second WAN interface; receiving an encapsulated packet from one of the at least two connections where the encapsulated packet is destined for an Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4) address on the Internet; and creating an IPv4 packet from the encapsulated packet by de-encapsulating the encapsulated packet and including an IPv4 public address in an IPv4 packet, wherein the IPv4 public address is associated with the router.

Disclosed are systems and methods that provide a computerized device management framework that adaptively determines and applies security and configuration parameters to a device on a first network, and enables the adaptive application of such parameters as the device disconnects and connects to other networks. The disclosed framework enables the automatic detection of different networks being relied upon by the device for access to the Internet, upon which, management control policies of the device's activities can be controlled and managed in a unified manner. Accordingly, the disclosed framework can enable security and configuration mechanisms applied on a first network, upon which they are associated, to be seamlessly applied on another disparate network via a virtual private network connection enabled via proprietary mechanisms implemented on the device.

Computerized systems and methods for adaptive device protection

Systems and methods are provided for determining whether dissimilar device identifiers in a network actually represent the same physical device. A method, according to one implementation, includes obtaining first and second sets of operational parameters related to first and second set of devices operating in a section of a network. The first and second sets of operational parameters include first and second sets of device identifiers representing the first and second sets of devices, respectively. The method also includes comparing the first set of device identifiers with the second set of device identifiers to find non-matching device identifiers. With respect to the non-matching device identifiers, the first and second sets of operational parameters are analyzed to determine if a device identifier of the first set of device identifiers and a device identifier of the second set of device identifiers likely represent the same device.

Counteracting MAC address randomization and spoofing attempts

Systems and methods include obtaining measurements from a Wi-Fi network that includes i) a plurality of access points interconnected to one another and at least one connected to a gateway, and ii) a plurality of Wi-Fi client devices that each connect to an access point of the plurality of access points; learning usage patterns in the Wi-Fi network through analysis with one or more machine learning algorithms; and providing a configuration to the Wi-Fi network based on the learned usage pattern where the configuration includes a topology of the plurality of access points.

A low-profile catenary hanger, catenary wire system, and a method for supporting an electrical contact wire in relation to a messenger wire wherein a wire clamping assembly clamps about the contact wire, and a wire corral assembly is fixed to the clamping assembly. The corral assembly defines an adjustable reception corral through which the messenger wire is received without fastening so that the contact wire can rise without a consequent lifting of the messenger wire. The clamping assembly has a first clamping member with a keystone-shaped projection and a second clamping member with a keystone-shaped slot that can slidably receive the keystone-shaped projection to fix the clamping members together by operation of a setscrew. The clamping members together define a wire reception volume, and each clamping member has an engaging tooth whereby a contact wire with opposed longitudinal grooves can be clamped and retained by the clamping assembly.

Systems and methods include, responsive to a Wi-Fi client device providing a password for a zone of a Wi-Fi network, determining a status of the Wi-Fi client device; when the status is unknown, placing the client device in a holding area associated with the zone, wherein the client device is connected to the Wi-Fi network while in the holding area and has restricted access that is less than full access to the zone in an allowed zone; responsive to placing the client device in the holding area, causing a notification to an administrator that the client device is in the holding area; and with the client device in the holding area, one of moving the Wi-Fi client device to the allowed area, moving the client device to a rejected area for the zone, and leaving the client device in the holding zone, based on any input or lack thereof.

Access to Wi-Fi networks via two-step and two-party control

Systems and methods include obtaining measurements from a Wi-Fi network that includes one or more access points; determining a configuration of the Wi-Fi network based on the measurements, wherein the configuration includes one or more of i) steering a client device to associate with a specific access point of the one or more access points and ii) steering the client device to connect to a specific frequency band of the one or more access points; and providing the configuration to the Wi-Fi network for implementation thereof.

A Wi-Fi system includes a plurality of access points each configured to operate on a plurality of channels including Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS) frequency channels and non-DFS frequency channels; and at least one access point of the plurality of access points is connected to a controller, wherein the controller is configured to coordinate usage of the plurality of channels between the plurality of access points including usage of the DFS frequency channels pursuant to predetermined DFS rules. One or more access points of the plurality of access points are configured to perform DFS measurements for a Channel Availability Check (CAC) and the DFS measurements are provided to the controller.

A Wi-Fi network configured for Wi-Fi client bridging using Layer 2 (L2) tunnels includes a plurality of access points each being one or more of a parent node, a child node, and a gateway node in the Wi-Fi network; wherein the plurality of access points are interconnected in a tree via a plurality of backhaul links and wherein each of the plurality of access points are configured to communicate with Wi-Fi client devices via a plurality of client links; and wherein each of the plurality of backhaul links is formed via a Layer 2 (L2) tunnel over a backhaul Wi-Fi interface between each parent node and each child node.

Layer two network tunnels for Wi-Fi client bridging in a distributed Wi-Fi network

Systems and methods implemented by a cloud-based controller to control a Wi-Fi network with a plurality of access points include obtaining measurements from the Wi-Fi network; determining a configuration of the Wi-Fi network based on the measurements, wherein the configuration comprises a topology of the Wi-Fi network and the topology comprises the plurality of access points selectively interconnected to one another via backhaul links; and providing the configuration to the Wi-Fi network for implementation thereof.
