A metal-encapsulated switching apparatus includes a housing having first and second opposite ends, a first insulator disposed at the first end and a second insulator disposed at the second end. First terminals are supported on the first insulator. First phase conductors run in a given direction and are connected to the first terminals. Second terminals are supported on the second insulator. Second phase conductors run in the given direction and are connected to the second terminals. The first and second terminals are mutually parallel, spaced apart and mutually overlapped. Movable contacts in the form of contact blades are supported on the first terminals. Fixed contacts are supported on the second terminals. Extensions with free ends protrude from and are perpendicular to the first and second terminals in the same direction. Fixed terminal contacts are perpendicular to the given direction of the phase conductors. Intermediate pieces are disposed on the free ends of the extensions and are movable into contact with the fixed terminal contacts.

Metal-encapsulated switching apparatus

A pressurized gas-insulated circuit breaker includes a substantially tubular encapsulating housing having ends, a plurality of circuit breaker poles in phases, at least one of which is disposed in the encapsulating housing, and current feed lines. Each line leading to a respective one of the circuit breaker poles. Current discharge lines each lead from a respective one of the circuit breaker poles. The current feed and discharge lines to and from each respective circuit breaker pole being disposed at the same one of the ends of the encapsulating housing. Supplemental conductors are each disposed in the encapsulating housing and are each extending parallel to and forming a U-shape with a respective one of the circuit breaker poles.

Pressurized gas-insulated three-phase encapsulated high-voltage circuit

An isolating switch apparatus, includes an encapsulation having at least one disconnection point and a plurality of contact points corresponding to a given number of phases therein, a plurality of phase conductors at least partially disposed in the encapsulation for a plurality of phases, first and second connection pieces connected to the phase conductors in the encapsulation for each contact point of each phase, the first and second connection pieces being partially overlapped, mutually spaced apart and substantially mutually parallel, a contact piece disposed on the second connection piece, an insulated drive shaft passing through a hole formed through the first connection piece, the drive shaft being overlapped by the second connection piece, and a contact blade attached to and rotatable by the drive shaft into a switched-on position in which the contact blade is substantially perpendicular to the first and second connection pieces, is disposed between the first and second connection pieces, and contacts the contact piece.
