A main laminate for a wind turbine blade, a wind turbine blade, and methods for manufacturing such components are disclosed. The main laminate extends along a longitudinal direction and comprising a connector element comprising a conductive mesh portion and an elongated connector part, wherein a connector part length is longer than an edge distance between the conductive mesh portion and a first edge, and wherein a secondary connector portion of the elongated connector part is bendable around a bend axis substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction.

Main laminate for a wind turbine blade and associated method

A method for manufacturing a shelland, is disclosed. The method includes laying one or more layers of fibres, on a surface of a mouldto form at least a portion of a shell half structureand. A first paneldefined with noise reduction membersis positioned adjacent to the one or more layers of fibres on the surface of the mould. Further, resin is infused through the one or more layers of fiber and the first paneland is subsequently cured to obtain the shell half structureor, where the first panelwith noise reduction membersadheres to the shell half structureandupon curing the infused resin.

Method of manufacturing a shell of a wind turbine blade

The present invention relates to a container having a cavity, wherein the cavity has a cavity pressure and comprises fibre material suitable for manufacturing one or more fibre-reinforced composite components for a wind turbine blade, and at least a part of the fibre material touches a first part of a wall of the container, at least the first part of the wall consisting of a flexible airtight material, and a ratio of an entire volume of non-cured polymer in the cavity to an entire volume of the fibre material in the cavity is less than 0.3, and the container is adapted to prevent inflow of a polymer into the cavity. A method for preparing such a container is also disclosed. A method for laying fibre material into a mould is also disclosed.

Container comprising fibre material for a fibre-reinforced composite component

The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a wind turbine blade comprising the steps of manufacturing a pressure shell halves and arranging a spar structure () within one of the shell halves. The spar structure () comprises two parts releasably coupled to each other. The method results in a segmented wind turbine blade for easy transportation and re-assembly.
