There is provided a bedrest including an inflatable bladder, a compressor assembly and a microprocessor based controller for inflating and deflating the bladder. The compressor assembly has several stages reducing the volume of air. The compressor assembly includes a housing having an air intake, a motor and a centrifugal blower for passing air into a valve assembly. When inflating, the air passes under pressure through the centrifugal blower, past the motor and through a check valve into the valve assembly and through air outlet that is connected to an air supply tube. In a preferred embodiment, the valve assembly is equipped with a solenoid relief valve for use when deflating the bladder. The microprocessor based controller enables an individual to inflate or deflate the bladder to any desired amount with a simple control. In addition, the hand controlled microprocessor permits computer programming so that the mattress can be automatically raised and lowered to different levels during different periods of time. An additional feature is that one does not need to simply continue to hold the switch down in order to raise or lower the bladder portion but instead can press a simple button after the entire hand controlled microprocessor has been preprogrammed so that any one of a number of different adjustments can be made and these can be made at any given time and preset to any given time and interval.

System for controlling the position of an inflatable bedrest positioned under a mattress

There is provided a bedrest including an inflatable bladder, which is in general a triangular shaped structure when inflated and a microprocessor based hand controller for inflating and deflating the bladder. The bladder contains an interior baffle which extend for primarily the length of the bladder fixed to interior walls of the bladder to form an inverse triangle inverse to the triangle formation of the bladder when inflated. The interior baffle therefore enables the structure to form more precisely into the desired triangular shape in order to perform a more effective position when inserted under the mattress in the head location of the bed. The microprocessor based hand controller enables an individual to inflate or deflate the bladder to any desired amount with a simple control. In addition, the hand controlled microprocessor permits computer programming so that the mattress can be automatically raised and lowered to different levels during different periods of time. A golf club laser positioning system is utilized as a golf training device for assisting a novice or professional golfer to properly direct a golf ball in the desired path. The golf club laser positioning system comprises a golf club which has a pair of light emitters mounted within the head portion of the club and will permit the golfer to adjust the light beams depending on the distance desired and the angulation of the terrain. The light emitters transmit the light beams which intersect each other at a remote common point. The laser positioning system allows the golfer to precisely select the correct angle and position of the head portion in relation to the desired path.

A hose piston is disposed inside a flexible hose which is filled with fluid and movable in any direction upon hydraulic pressure. The rollers of an external device are engaged on the exterior surface of the flexible hose and are located adjacent to the midsection of the hose piston. The fluid pressure inside the flexible hose forces the hose piston to move along a given direction within the flexible hose, which in turn forces the rollers to travel in the same direction. This mechanism can transport the external device along the flexible hose.

The present invention is a novel and unique 360.degree. connector system which can be used in an in-line cable to cable application, but can also be utilized in various applications such as a power tool, an extension cord, etc. The uniqueness of the 360.degree. connector system is the concave/convex longitudinal tubular surfaces and transverse circular surfaces of the male and female connectors for improved area contact, thereby creating continuity and allowing the connector system to turn around freely in a 360.degree. rotation. The essential components of the present invention 360.degree. connector system basically include a male connector and a female connector rotatably connected to each other. Both of the male and female connectors are generally made of an elastomer material, instead of the standard static material.

The present invention is a connector shell assembly that retains both a conventional connector and a strain relief or radio jack which is attached to the extended rear end of the connector shell. The connector shell assembly also has unisex spring-load turn wheel mechanisms which do not need tools to be installed.

Unisex connector/modular adapter systems

The present invention is an improved needle cover assembly for a syringe. The needle cover assembly includes a first half and an opposite unequal second half with an arc shaped inner shell such that the first half encloses the arc shaped inner shell of the second half of the needle cover assembly. The arc shaped inner shell of the second half extends over the tip of the needle and the first half of the elongated cover member extends over both the arc shaped inner shell and the tip of the needle for providing double protection. The two halves of the needle cover assembly are attached to a frustum shaped base member such that a hollow hub member can be press-fitted into the frustum shaped base member. A rotatable collar surrounds the frustum shaped base member, and when the rotatable collar is rotated approximately 90.degree., the two halves of the cover member are split apart so that the two halves of the needle cover are away from each other, thereby exposing the needle so that it can be used for an injection of medicine. After the injection has been given, the two halves of the needle cover assembly can be closed by rotating the rotatable collar back to approximately 90.degree..

Adapter/connector shell assembly with unisex hardware

The present invention is an improved needle cover assembly for a syringe. The present invention is a radio jack strain relief and identification holder. The strain relief and identification holder is used to provide strain relief and identification to the radio jack. It includes a flexible holder comprising an entrance for receiving a radio jack and an opposite cable entrance with reduced inner cross-sectional dimensions for tightly retaining a cable such that the reduced inner cross-sectional dimensions engage against opposite sides of the cable for relieving any strain transmitted on the cable. It also includes a C-shaped ring with identifying indicia thereon so that the radio jack and cable can be identified.

A doghouse with multi-channel flow-through fresh air ventilation comprising a generally arcuate-shaped hollow top part which has a rectangular circumferential bottom rim configured with four sharp corners, and a generally box-shaped hollow bottom part which has an octagonal circumferential top rim configured with four cut corners. When the top part is detachably attached onto said bottom part by interlocking members to construct a doghouse, the rectangular circumferential bottom rim of the top part is adjacent to the octagonal circumferential top rim of the bottom part, and the four sharp corners of the rectangular circumferential bottom rim of the top part are located above the four cut corners of the octagonal circumferential top rim of the bottom part respectively to form four shielded and heightened openings facing downwardly, to thereby provide multi-channel flow-through fresh air ventilation for the doghouse.
