A process for operating an air-jet spinning device such that after a spinning interruption the yarn end of the spun yarn accumulated on a take-up package is picked up by a suction nozzle and transferred to a yarn end preparation device. The yarn end is processed in the yarn end preparation device and is then transferred to a first area of an outlet opening of the spinning cone, the yarn end is pneumatically transported to a second area of an inlet opening of the spinning cone and is positioned there within the air-jet spinning device at a distance in front of the inlet opening, the drafting system of the relevant workstation is raised and the sliver is conveyed through a sliver guide of the nozzle block into the second area of the inlet opening of the spinning cone and there spun onto the prepared yarn end of the spun yarn.

Process for operating an air-jet spinning device, yarn guide channel and air-jet spinning machine comprising such a yarn guide channel

A yarn guide channel for arrangement between a spinning device and a winding device of a spinning machine producing a take-up package in which a yarn guide channel forms a passage channel for a yarn running between the spinning device and the winding device. The yarn guide channel has a plurality of pneumatically engageable channel sections coupled to each other, having at least a first channel section, a second channel section and a channel connection section disposed between the first and second channel sections, in which the channel connection section has a mouth for supplying compressed air into the yarn guide channel for generating a pneumatic overpressure in the first channel section associated with a pneumatic suction effect in the second channel section.

A tube plate supported in a freely rotatable manner in a creel of a cheese-producing textile machine is provided with a tensioning cone that fits into the cheese tube and fixes it. The tube plate includes a base body with the tensioning cone and a clamping ring, axially movable relative to and supported on the base body.

Service unit for restarting the spinning of work stations in an open-end spinning machine

An open-end rotor spinning machine having at least two identical work stations, wherein each work station comprises an open-end spinning device for producing a yarn, a winding device with a creel, a yarn cross-winding device for producing a cheese, a vacuum-chargeable, pivotably seated suction nozzle having a yarn catch element arranged thereon, a device for preparing a yarn for piecing, and a stationary yarn guide device wherein the stationary yarn guide device and the yarn catch element are cooperatively arranged for retrieving the yarn from the cheese and transferring the yarn to the open-end spinning device.

Open-end rotor spinning machine

A method for operating a cheese-producing textile machine (1), having a plurality of aligned work stations (2), a transport device (21) extending over the length of the machine for removing finished cheeses (11), and a cheese changer (23) displaceable above the work stations with an ultrasound sensor device (30) connected to the control device (38) of the cheese changer (23) for monitoring the loading state of the transport device (21). The sensor device (30, 38) is initially set to the climatic conditions of the respective place of employment by processing appropriate reference sound signals, i.e. a correction factor is determined. During operation, scanning values (TW) are then determined by means of the traveling time of the measuring sound signals of the ultrasound sensor (30) which, taking into consideration the respectively prevailing climatic conditions, permit conclusions regarding the loading state of the transport device (21) in the deposit areas of the respective work station (2).

Method for operating a cheese-producing textile machine and a sensor

A cop changing and transport system for a composite ring spinning and winding machine wherein both the ring spinning machine and the winding machine have respective transport systems 2 and 3 in which circulate separate respective groups of transport pallets 25 and 26, dedicated to the respective machines. A transfer device 1 is disposed at an adjacent location between the transport systems 2 and 3, and has two adjoining transport disks 8, 9 rotating in the same direction. Cop and tube manipulating devices 42 are respectively disposed on the transport disks 8 and 9 on support columns 39 of a support structure 38, which manipulating devices are positively controlled in the course of the rotation of the transport disks 8 and 9 such that the manipulating devices continuously transfer the spinning cops 59 or the empty tubes 60 from the transport pallets of one transport system to the transport pallets of the other transport system.

Textile yarn cop changing and transport system

A cheese-producing textile machine 1 has a plurality of winding stations 2 and a service unit 23 for servicing the winding stations 2. The textile machine 1 has a central control unit 37 as well as separate winding station computers 39 for the individual winding stations 2. The service unit 23 has a control computer 38 which is connected by a machine bus 40 with the central control unit 37 as well as with the winding station computers 39. During the process of exchanging a cheese with an empty bobbin performed by the service unit 23, the yarn tensioner 14 of the respective winding station 2 is actuated via the machine bus 40 in accordance with the control computer 38 of the service unit 23, to set the tension of the yarn 30 optimally according to the respectively existing processing conditions.

Cheese-producing textile machine

A cheese-producing textile machine 1 having a plurality of winding stations 2 with respective separate winding station computers 39 and a unit 23 for servicing the winding stations 2. The textile machine 1 has a central control unit 37 and the service unit 23 has a separate control computer 38. These control devices 37, 38 and 39 are connected with each other by means of a machine bus 40. During the process of replacing a finished cheese with an empty tube at any winding station, a cheese brake integrated into the winding creel 18 and/or a creel lifting device 49 can be actuated by the service unit computer 38 via the machine bus 40 in a pulsed manner when needed, for example to dislodge a cheese 11 which is stuck in the winding creel.

An automatic package doffer of a textile winding machine includes a yarn engaging device and a travel limiting device. The yarn engaging device includes a pivot housing and a movably hinged yarn lifter head and is seated on a pivot and bearing shaft in a partially rotatable and axially displaceable disposition. A yarn catcher plate, clamping shears, and a yarn guide plate are disposed on the yarn lifter head. The yarn engaging device also includes a stop element for engaging the housing of a respective winding station for stopping movement of the yarn engaging device at a first predefined position with respect to the winding station housing. The travel limiting device includes a clamp assembly that is clampable to the yarn engaging device when at the first predefined position and guide rails attached to the doffer upon which the clamp assembly is slidably disposed. A pneumatic cylinder selectively causes the clamp assembly to clamp onto a braking tube that is part of the yarn engaging device. Another stop element disposed on the doffer limits travel of the clamp assembly and the clamped yarn engaging device at a second predefined position whereat a yarn supply is positioned against an empty tube. Thus, it possible to repeatedly place a yarn end of a supply yarn against an empty tube held in the winding frame at a precise and accurate position without elaborate adjusting steps being required at the winding station or on the doffer.
