A breech block with a bolt carrier, on which a bolt head and a locking device are arranged with two diametrically opposed locking elements pivotable from a release position to a locking position via a control element, for holding the bolt head in a locking position. The locking elements are mounted pivotably around a common transverse axis via journals and the control element contains front and rear support areas that abut against the locking elements for controlled forced movement of the locking elements into both the locking position and the release position.

Breech block and rifle with such a breech block

A repeating weapon includes a bolt with a bolt body movable between locked and unlocked positions, and a trigger mechanism with a trigger, a sear movable between cocked and half-cocked positions, a transfer element movable by actuation of trigger between a holding position to hold the sear in the cocked position and a release position to move the sear into the half-cocked position, and a breech catch element movable transversely to the bolt body to limit the axial movement of bolt during opening. A control cam is arranged on the bolt body for moving the breech catch element into a safe position when the bolt body is moved into the unlocked position, and a blocking element cooperating with the transfer element is arranged on the breech catch element for preventing movement of the transfer element into the release position when the breech catch element moves into the safe position.

Repeating weapon

A bolt assembly of a gun includes a bolt body displaceable along a longitudinal axis, a firing pin guided to move axially in the bolt body, a firing pin spring associated with the firing pin, and a small breech arranged at the rear end of the bolt body. A sliding sleeve actuatable by a cocking slide is arranged to cock and uncock the firing pin spring. The cocking slide contains a control cam for axial displacement of the sliding sleeve by a slide part that can be moved in a straight line in the direction of longitudinal axis of bolt body and projecting rearward relative to the small breech.

Chamber of a handgun

A trigger mechanism of a firearm includes a trigger movable between an initial position and a discharge position, a sear movable between a holding position and a half-cocked position, and a transfer element movable by actuation of the trigger between a holding position for holding the sear in the cocked position and a release position for moving the sear into the half-cocked position. A safety device is assigned to the trigger with two pendulums pivotable about a transverse axis and deflectable by impacts. The two pendulums are connected to the trigger in such a way that the trigger is forced into its initial position by at least one of the two pendulums during deflection of the two pendulums caused by impact.

Trigger mechanism of a handgun

A buttstock of a small arm includes a front connection area for a positive connection to a receiver. In order to permit increased cartridge capacity, a trigger unit with a trigger latch and a transfer element extending forward for connection of the trigger latch to a trigger mechanism arranged in the receiver is positioned on the buttstock.
