In a piezo-control valve for fuel injection systems of internal combustion engines wherein a piezo-ceramic actuating rod is mounted with one end firmly to one end of a valve housing having a nozzle body with a valve seat disposed at the other end and a nozzle control needle is disposed in the nozzle body and pressed by the piezo-ceramic actuating rod onto the valve seat in the nozzle body when the piezo-ceramic actuating rod is not activated, the valve housing includes a sleeve-like portion disposed around the piezo-ceramic actuating rod which consists of a material compensating for temperature-caused changes in the length of the piezo-ceramic actuating rod.

Piezo-control valve for fuel injection systems of internal combustion

A device works according to the displacement principle, i.e., at least two displacers are provided in a common displacer working chamber or in displacer working chambers communicating with one another, and are drivingly coupled together by a pressure transmission medium. Elastomer material is disposed as the pressure transmission medium, at least in the region of one displacer.

A piezoelectric control valve, for motor fuel injection via an injection valve, includes a hydraulic play-compensation element inside the control valve on the one side, which automatically compensates for possible changes in length of the reference system as a result of piezoceramic setting actions in the piezoelectric actuator so that, at the same working stroke of the piezoelectric actuator, an identical stroke at the valve is also always ensured. A hydraulic stroke transmission inside the control valve on the other side, provide a valve stroke corresponding to a multiple of the working stroke.

A valve arrangement with a main shifting valve and a pilot control valve in which the main shifting valve controls the connection between an inlet line and an outlet line. Depending on the position of the pilot control valve, a control pressure space is connected with the inlet line and is therewith acted upon with the inlet pressure, respectively, is relieved of the pressure by a connection with an essentially pressureless return line in order to close, respectively, open the main shifting valve. As the inlet, outlet and return lines terminate on the same bottom side of the socket, the valve arrangement can be arranged in a particularly simple manner on a line plate of a hydraulic, respectively, pneumatic shifting arrangement.

Valve arrangement with main shifting valve and pilot control valve

An apparatus is provided for sequentially actuating a pair of valves used to control a flow of brake fluid in a vehicle. Each valve is yieldably biased toward a normal position. The apparatus includes an actuation member that is tiltable in response to movement of a piezoelectric member to accomplish sequential operation of the valve pair, the actuating member being tiltable during a first adjustment stroke counter to the force of the first valve spring about a first axis of rotation defined by a bearing point fixed to the housing and by a compression spring in order to actuate the first valve and move the first tappet to a selected position. The actuating member is also tiltable during a second adjustment stroke counter to the force of the compression spring about a second axis of rotation defined by the bearing point fixed to the housing and by the moved first tappet in order to actuate the second valve.

Actuating device for two mutually dependently actuable valves

Electrically operated valve for liquid or gaseous media, suitable for internal combustion engines, possessing an electrically-activated actuating element with a short actuating displacement, this actuating element acting on a control valve, and possessing a nozzle element which unblocks a nozzle when a defined pressure is present in the supply line. The actuating element is connected to an actuating-element base and is pressed, by means of an actuating-element spring, against the control-valve plate of the control valve, this control-valve plate being pressed, by a stronger control-valve spring, against a fixed reference plane. In order to compensate for changes in the length of the actuating element, resulting from mechanical forces and/or from temperature changes, a collect-type clamping device is provided, which is subjected to the pressure of the medium and clamps the actuating element while it is being operated.

Electrically operated valve

A pressure operated control installation, especially for automotive vehicles, which includes a pressure source and a servo member controlled through a control block. The control block includes a logistor, a control element coupled with a control unit, and a bypass line with a throttling arrangement. The pressure conducting inlet of the logistor is connected through the bypass line to a control inlet of the logistor and the control unit controls a connection between the control inlet of the logistor and a return line. At least two control blocks are provided with a control outlet of the logistor of the first control block and a pressure conducting inlet of the logistor of the second control block being connected to the servo member.

Pressure operated control installation

An electronically controlled actuator arrangement with a temperature-compensated piezoelectric transducer. The transducer includes at least one stack of piezoelectric oxide discs. The actuator arrangement includes a mechanical throw-transmitting lever system arranged in series with the transducer. The lever system includes one or more levers and is integrated into a plane-parallel plate. When the actuator arrangement is in a rest position, a force introduction point or points lies flush with one plane face of the plate and a force deployment point or points lies flush with an opposite plane face of the plate. By virtue of the actuator arrangement, the lever system is not, to any substantial extent, affected by the temperature. The actuator arrangement is especially suitable for rapid-action hydraulic valves.

Temperature compensated piezoelectric actuator arrangement

An acceleration pickup or detector which is provided with a cable outlet located at right angles to a direction of the main vibrations to be detected, especially for detecting knocking signals in internal combustion engines. Connecting elements linking leads of the connecting cable with the acceleration pickup are disposed on a side of the acceleration pickup opposite to the axis of symmetry with respect to the cable outlet. An additional mass is provided on the side of the connecting elements, which mass forms a common counter mass with the connecting elements for the connecting cable.

Acceleration detector

An ingnition distributor for an internal combustion engine, more particularly, for a motor vehicle internal combustion engine having an electronic ignition system driven by a distributor shaft which, in turn, is driven by the engine and having a device for changing a phase relationship between the distributor shaft and a distributor rotor. A control disk is rotatably mounted on the distributor shaft and is rigidly coupled with the distributor rotor. The rotation of the distributor shaft is capable of being transmitted to the control disk by means of at least one spring. An electromagnet is provided between the two poles of which the control disk is rotated, with the electromagnet forming with the control disk an anti-current brake. An electronic phase control is provided for regulating an excitation current of the electromagnet in accordance with a difference between the actual and set value of the phase displacement in dependence upon operating parameters of the internal combustion engine.

Ignition distributor for internal combustion engines

A torque measuring arrangement with a rotating torque measuring member adapted to be installed into the force flow of a force transmission, which includes a deformation area to which are bonded strain gauge strips adapted to be stressed by the torque to be measured and with a rotary transmitter for the rotating line connections of the strain gauge strips with fixed line connections; the torque measuring member extends disk-shaped essentially perpendicularly to the axis of rotation while a large number of apertures of predetermined mutually identical, preferably circular contour are arranged in the torque measuring member along predetermined radial positions and uniformly distributed over the circumference; the apertures leave therebetween essentially radially extending spoke-like webs whereby the axially measured wall thickness of the torque measuring member is considerably greater at least within the area of the apertures or webs than the width of the webs measured in the circumferential direction at the narrowest location thereof; the strain gauge strips are glued onto the measuring webs eccentrically from a radial point of view.

Torque measuring arrangement

A frequency transmitter combined with a differential gear for the transmission of signals to control the slippage of wheels of motor vehicles, which consists of a rotating toothed ring member secured at the circumference of each output shaft of the differential gear, cooperating with a stationary toothed disc that is arranged in the bearing cover of the differential gear between the bearing for the spur bevel gear and a retaining ring or the like providing a seal with respect to the outside.
