A cleaning attachment configured for mounting a conventional household sponge to the chuck of a cordless electric screwdriver. The cleaning attachment relieves a person of the manual labor involved in scrubbing a surface with a sponge by hand. The cleaning attachment also eliminates the need to purchase a specialized sponge that is designed and sold specifically to operate in conjunction with a rotary tool. The sponge can be easily dismounted, flipped over, and reattached for continued use.

A method is disclosed. The method comprises the steps of preparing a serviceable catalytic converter such that a catalyst substrate of the catalytic converter is serviceable while the catalytic converter remains connected to an exhaust system by forming a lower surface of the body of the catalytic converter with an absence of material in order to provide at least one opening in the lower surface of the body of the catalytic converter for permitting selective access to a fluid-flow passage that extends through the body of the catalytic converter that contains the catalyst substrate; and disposing at least one close-out member in the at least one opening for fluidly-sealing the at least one opening. A component of an exhaust system that is serviceable while remaining fluidly-connected and physically-connected to the exhaust system is also disclosed. A kit for servicing a component of an exhaust system that is serviceable while remaining fluidly-connected and physically-connected to the exhaust system is also disclosed.

Catalytic converter, a kit for servicing a catalytic converter, and methods for servicing a catalytic converter

A cardiac care system integrated with a vehicle is provided wherein regularly included vehicle components are used in the system, where available. The cardiac care system includes an automated external defibrillator integrated with the vehicle so as to be readily available when needed. The vehicle battery is shared with the defibrillator to charge the defibrillation capacitor. A connector in the passenger compartment of the vehicle makes high voltage from the capacitor available inside the vehicle. Instructions are broadcast by the computer controlling the defibrillator over the regularly included vehicle speakers. A wireless communication system connecting the cardiac care system to outside help may be included.
