A two part spout assembly, where both tubular body and spout member are hollow and cylindrical. The inner tubular body is extended to a stopper dome-shaped nozzle with a large semi-elliptic opening. The spout member has a stopper coupling sleeve conforming to the stopper dome-shaped nozzle, with the semi-elliptic opening of the same size, protruding inwardly and formed integrally with the spout member wall. By rotatably sliding the spout member until it reaches the 'off' mark the nozzle is placed to a position to complement the spout member to seal the container against the outflow of its contents through the spout. When rotated by 180 degrees, the two domes and openings are fully aligned and the spout is fully opened.

An improved bottle cap device formed so as to have a positive sealing arrangement for use with bottles that store gaseous fluid such as soda water and like beverages, wherein the bottle cap device includes a threaded cap body and a hinged cover or lid that is formed having a sealing semi-spherical structure defined by a depending convex wall that engages a gasket mounted within the cap body when the cover is locked in a close sealed position.

An improved bottle cap device formed so as to have a positive sealing arrangement for use with bottles that store gaseous fluid such as soda water and like beverages, wherein the bottle cap device includes a threaded cap body and a hinged cover or lid that is formed having a sealing annular structure which compresses an annular gasket against the mouth of the bottle by a depending convex wall that engages a gasket mounted when the cover is locked in a close sealed position and a pressure release latch for limiting the movement of the hinged cover after it is unlocked from the cap body to relieve pressure within the bottle.

A sealable and dispensing pouring spout is disclosed. A collar member is mounted on a tubular body member, these two parts defining a cam follower surface therebetween. The tubular body member has a stopper attached at an open end thereof. A spout shaped member is rotatably mounted on the tubular body member and has a cam follower which engages the cam follower surface. The spout shaped member can be rotated on the tubular body member into engagement with the stopper member to close the pouring spout or to other positions to open the pouring spout.

A sealable and dispensing pouring spout is disclosed. A collar member is mounted on a tubular body member, these two parts defining a cam follower surface therebetween. The tubular body member has a stopper attached at an open end thereof. A spout shaped member is rotably mounted on the tubular body member and has a cam follower which engages the cam follower surface. The spout shaped member can be rotated on the tubular body member into engagement with the stopper member to close the pouring spout or to other positions to open the pouring spout.

The spout includes a threaded end which is adapted to engage a container, a spout body for conducting the materials from the container and an adjustable end which is adapted to selectively interrupt the flow of materials through the spout.

An automobile sun shade is described in which a plurality of elongated blades are pinned together at one end. The blades are provided with a plurality of openings intermediate the ends thereof. The joinder tape is woven through the openings in each blade to permit the blades to be opened in a fan-like manner in either direction or folded to occupy the space of a single blade.

Disclosed is a lighting fixture which is primarily adapted for removable attachment to modular office furniture and for adjustable, substantially glare-free illumination of a work surface. The lighting fixture has a substantially elongated housing for a ballast, and a pair of holders for fluorescent tubes which are pivotably attached to a lower surface of the housing. A fastening device is attached to the housing which enables removable attachment of the lighting fixture to the underside of a shelf or the like, preferably without physically altering or changing the shelf. A channel shaped member having an upwardly open face is attached to and is disposed substantially along the entire length of the housing in order to unobtrusively accommodate at least a portion of a cable which connects the lighting fixture with an electric outlet. A user may adjust the positioning of each tube holder relative to the housing in order to obtain an optimal lighting effect on the work surface.

An optical assembly, such as binoculars, having an objective and ocular lens system is focused by the axial displacement of at least one lens system on the optical axis. A manually operated actuator is translationally displaced on the binocular housing to impart the focusing movement. Preferably the actuator is a segment of flexible belt connected to a forked cam arrangement for actually displacing a focusing lens. The binocular housing along with the cam focusing lens system can be both aligned and retained in an operative mode by an elongated shaft extending through the segments of the binocular housing. The binocular housing is split and rotatable about the shaft within the range of movement of the flexible belt.
